Because of the films.

I've also read most of the books and I play the video games but it's the films that introduced me to Bond and it's the films I value above everything else.

I participate in discussion groups almost daily, I watch an average one Bond film per month (not including impromptu marathons), have read all of Flemings novels, and Amis', getting ready to read Gardner's work now..

I own most of the DVD's & assorted corgi vehicles as well as airsoft PPK's.

I've seen all the films multiple times (From 2X for Moonraker to 50X for Diamonds Are Forever), and have seen a few documentary/award shows concerning the franchise.
