I think it was left very ambiguous. I don't remember the exact dialoge, but in the casino afterwards, there was some suggestive language that one could take to mean that Bond got more than his stubble trimmed. ;-)

The casino dialogue bits if you wish to analyse... ;)

    James Bond: Good evening.
    Eve: Evening.
James Bond: Don't touch your ear. I've got three exits, and lots of blind spots.
    Eve: I've got them covered.
James Bond: You look beautiful in that dress.
Eve: You don't scrub up so bad yourself.
James Bond: Mm, it's amazing what one can do with an extra pair of hands.
    Eve: You're telling me.
    James Bond: Do you gamble?
Eve: I like a little flutter now and then. Who doesn't like to take chances?

    ---

    Eve: She's pretty.
    James Bond: I know.
Eve: If you like that sort of thing.
[Bond takes his earpiece off and whispers into it]
James Bond: I'll keep you posted.

Thanks Tuulia! I don't think you can read Eve's line "you're telling me" any other way than to imply they did more than clean up.

Put another way, if they did not have sex, then Bond's line about an "extra pair of hands" still holds up, but Eve's line makes no sense whatsoever.

I do agree with the sexual tension between someone you've had sex with before - it's happened to me - but I still believe that they didn't have sex.
  • I think the evidence points towards them doing it mainly because of what @Grinderman mentioned.

Shame they cut that line because I don't think Bond and MP should ever actually have sex.

I don't see any evidence of them knocking doors. Mendes wouldn't do that as he is a huge fan of the series and understands their star crossed romance of sorts.
  • I always assumed they spent the night together. In fact, I think there's very little evidence to suggest they didn't do anything. Even if you ingore the dialoge in the casino there's still plenty of reason to think they did the deed. Add Eve's comments later, as mentioned above, and I always thought it was pretty clear what happened.

Well, you were burned by a metal dragon you thought was real, so what do you know?!

To paraphrase Jesscia Rabbit: I'm not stupid, I'm just written that way. ;-)

Haha, I knew you were one of my favorite allies for a reason! Very clever of you, @Quarrel, a sharp mind you have. Now...

    ...fetch my shoes. :P
