I'd love for Corgi to redo that V8.. And now that its in NTTD, surely Corgi will be doing it!

Yep they done some James Bond cars The 2 classic Aston Martins DB5 & V8 Vantage for No Time to Die has been done. Nothing on other 2. They redone OHMSS Aston Martin DBS 2 BMWs & Lotus Esprit pack differently & Casino Royale Left hand drive DB5. That I saw in Corgi Catalogue 2020part 2.

Not liking how the wheels look on that V8 Vantage. Corgi can do better than that surely. They should do it like how they did the Directors Cut models last time with proper wheels and rims.

This isn't Bond related, but we don't have a model car thread (not sure how much call for one there would be), but I have bought my first model car (that wasn't Bond related) in a long, long time....

It's in that colour as well. I have a few Vanguards models. I know for a fact, I have a lovely yellow/white Truimph Herald somewhere. BL's reputation is the stuff of legend, but I quite like the Allegro, and I really like the wedge styling of the Princess.

Got my NTTD DB5 slot car today, very happy with it.

Was after a 1:18 DB5, but surprisingly, they can't get the wheels right. The tyres are always too fat, too rounded on the tread, or sit too high up in the arches. Quite frustrating. At least they look decent on this 1:32.

I'm pretty satisfied with my 1/18 from Hot Wheels. I like that it has tons of working gadgets as well..

I might still get that one, but the tyres are too big. I would want the side window to go up too.

I have no track for it, but will no doubt display it with all the Matera toys come November!

Got the NTTD edition 1:64 Vantage. The car looks fine, but obviously the paint job is darker:

If you've been following the NTTD production closely you will have seen the DHL transport vehicles emblazoned with the 007 logo along the sides. This is my die-cast model of the plane. Not the correct plane used, but it had the DHL livery and I simply added 007 details over the top. Scale is about 1:300.

I love to see if anyone picks up the Scalextric Vantage: that looks a bit more accurate than most models of that car.

Darn for a while there I thought that was an official release from DHL!

    Cheers mate.

You can probably see the edges of 007 sticker I've added over the top, and it continues over the fuselage to the left side, where the text is the same. Couldn't find where I put my decal paper, so just used clear sticker sheet instead.

They should've definitely done official tie-in models for the film, released by Matchbox. Missed opportunity on their part.

Oh yes I forgot that was in this film! I wonder why it's got a numberplate in one shot but not in another? Can you make out what it says?

@QBranch , where is that available?

It's difficult to make out the numberplate in the trailer. The last three letters look a bit like 'KMD'.

    Is it a UK plate?

@mtm Hard to tell. Perhaps. Check the trailer when the car is on the tarmac. There's like one or two frames where it clears up a bit.

@zebrafish Got it off ebay. The brand is 'Welly', which may or may not be short for 'Wet Nelly'. I'm thinking it's not.

Gorgeous - this got me checking out the aircraft type (Airbus A300) and looking into model kits for my increasingly ambitious list.

Nice. I might just get that too. But a pity the steering side isn't on the right side like it is in the movie.

When will they make something totally new rather than re-hashing the DB5? You mean like that?
