5. General Orlov. (not a fan of him to be honest.)
4. The Tennis racket weapon and Indian citizens going back and forth as if it was a Tennis match.
3. Car on train tracks. I thought that was unnecessary.
2. Bond in the ape costume. Clown suit was enough.
1. "Having a hard time keeping it up Q?" That line makes me cringe every time.
Thought I was the only one who found him dull.
2. Bond is in the gorilla suit.
3. The green submarine.
4. Tarzan yell. You'd think Eon would've learnt something since the slide whistle nine years prior.
5. Sit, tiger. Attaboy.
Once upon a time, I would've dismissed the clown suit, but it's logical that Bond would disguise himself like this in order to stop the bomb. The weak part is the brief amount of time he took to get dressed up, paint his face etc.

I don't really see any problem with the clown disguise or even the croc submarine, kind of logical disguises.

5. The PTS. Short and Sweet.
4. The Dramatic tension. OP is one of the most tense Bond movies. It leaves you on the edge of your seat every time the end approaches.
3. Kamal Khan. One of my Favorite villains. He's so suave and cold. Much like an Anti Bond if you will.
2. Maud Adam's return. I don't think anyone but her could do it. She was painfully underused in Golden Gun and should have lived. I'm glad she got a second chance here.
1. The various nods to Fleming. Property of a Lady, Major D Smythe, ect ect.
4 - Barry's ominous music starts playing once the bomb under the canon has been revealed.
3 - Gogol lecturing Orlov when the latter has been shot.
2 - Bond kissing OP for the first time. Moore meant it.
1 - Bond confronting Orlov on the train.
2. Bond and Orlov "I'm British Secret Service!"
3. Despite the clown outfit, the genuine panic from Bond in trying to convince the U.S. General that an atomic bomb is about to detonate.
4. Desmond Llewellyn finally getting a more substantial role. Plus he gets the killer line: "Oh cut it out, no time for that..........later perhaps!"
5. The finale between Bond and Gobinda on top of the plane.
Oh and an honourable mention to when Bond kills Grischka with one of his own throwing knives.
4 - The kiss between Octopussy and Bond. One of my favourite romantic scenes in the entire series and almost certainly Moore's best. Barry's accompanying score is wonderful.
3 - Moore. This is one of his best performances and I would probably say it's his best non-serious/comedic (serious being TMWTGG, 75% of TSWLM, FYEO) one.
2 - So many things. The PTS, the train sequence (I think I actually prefer it to Skyfall's, believe it or not), the clown suit (which I used to despise but now understand to have been necessary, and which I enjoy thoroughly), and almost every scene in the film. I love how Q gets a harem of women after him following the balloon sequence.
1 - Any and all things related to Louis Jordain and Kamal Khan. Orlov was a very dull villain (I actually think he's one of the worst in the series) and Jordain made up for it in every way with his performance. I've praised this before, but if I had to define this point with one moment/line, then it would be "You have a NAAAASTY habit... of surviving!"
So much stuff left out. I wish I could make ten or even fifteen points instead of five. Octopussy might be the pound-for-pound most entertaining film in the series.
2. Vijay's killing - not because I liked it; on the contrary, it was another episode where a pleasant character is lost and I'm sorry to see him/her go
3. The nitfy exit Magda makes out the window using her sari
4. The homage to GF when Bond interferes with Khan's crooked dice game, down to Gorbinda's update of the Oddjob golfbal crush
5. Bond's knifing revenge on Grischka

3. Fight on the plane.
2. The climax. The chaos is believable and honestly frightening. The only thing amiss is the clown suit.
1. Orlov vs. Gogol. Ham to ham combat.
4 006 arriving at the Embassy with the Fabergé in his hand (that scene is pure thriller)
3 The auction scene
2 Gogol and Orlov final exchange: "Just a common thief"/ "But tomorrow I will be called a hero of the Soviet Union"
1 The PTS
2. Double sixes "fancy that", Bond at his most cool.
3. The train sequence, superb.
4. Bond and Octopussy are rudely interupted by yo yo saw goons.
5. The climax with Bond hanging from a plane.

4 - The urine-in-face joke as a means to actually decide the outcome of a 'serious' fight.
3 - The unbelievably dull underwater struggle between Largo and Bond.
2 - Radio-luring the sharks to Bond in the sunken ship... Really? :O
1 - Connery looks like a Power Ranger wearing that helmet and driving that bike.
4. - The video game duel. I kept picturing Cylons about to burst in.
3. - Bond wearing a helmet riding a motor cycle. safety first I know but James Bond doesn't wear a helmet!
2. Dull climax.
1. Michel Legrand's godawful music score. [-(
4. Bond getting stabbed by the woman in the training sequence- most disappointing pre-titles sequence? (even though it technically is not PTS) How about the one that's not an actual mission? Yeah, talk about a let-down!
3. Edward Fox's M getting heated towards Bond- he comes off looking more foolish than he does any bit superior or authoritative
2. Fatima Blush's speech to Bond- I'm sorry, but she is as cheesy as they come!
1. Domino spearing Largo- it just doesn't seem convincing to me that she would do that; the Domino from Thunderball? Yes, I was convinced she'd kill Largo. But Kim Basinger? Sorry, but I still find her unconvincing as a vengeful mistress
4: Video game duel. It's aged HORRIBLY.

2: Horse jumping into water.
1: The fact that we're actually doing NSNA.

1. You can lead a horse to water, but not like this.
2. Nigel Small-Fawcett. I enjoy Atkinson, but he doesn't fit in a Bond film. In a spy comedy, however... Now there's an idea. :-?
3. The climax could've been more memorable.
4. As mentioned above, M acts like a fool. Also, he holds Bond's methods in much less regard than his illustrious predecessor did. How dare he?!
5. Too brief a scene of Bond and Fatima going down. I'm quite fond of diving.

5 - Bond's case full of caviare, foie gras and other goods. Splendid moment.
4 - I rather like Domino's smile after finding out that her masseur wasn't who he made it out to be. Sean still has it.
3 - Fatima goes out with a bang.

1 - The awesome video game battle; awesome for its day!

2. Q-Branch scene. I like Q in this actually. He may not be Desmond but he is unique.

#2 The fight between Connery and the heavy when the sports game is underway (killed by urine sample / broken glass etc)
#3 The 'control of the world' video game between Bond and Largo
#4 The pre credits sequence. Actually very well done
#5 struggling now. Haven't seen this in a long while. Motorcycle chase with Sean Connery in the South of France
1. Bond leaves the health farm out of shape.
2. The video game scene. 'Domination' was more than a decade ahead of its time, as evidenced by the 'dual shock' joysticks.
3. Fatima. No explanation needed- except that I'm going to put her in my memoirs as number one. ;)
4. The sequence in North Africa (minus the horse jump, which was one absurd stunt away from Bond saddling Pegasus).
5. After 12 years, Sean returns as James Bond. And for me, NSNA turns out to be more enjoyable than his final Eon film (and dare I say, OP). I love how they play on the fact that Bond is much older, and on the verge of retirement.
Honourable mentions:
-Bond on his bike- the one with the motor.
-Bernie Casey is one of the better Felix Leiters.
-Connery's wife providing the title. Check the end credits.
-Domino's massage scene, and her (lack of) apparel in North Africa.
-The Tears of Allah, located beneath a desert oasis.
-'Yes, but my martini's still dry.' Brilliant.
I quite like the opening sequence too- including the theme song.
