Can't believe I forgot The Offence. Along with The Hill probably Sean's best performances as an actor rather than just playing himself.

I really need to see this film ever since I saw clips of it way back on a programme about Sean Connery the actor.

It is wonderful. Connery and Ian Bannen are spellbinding

    The Fourth Protocol any one?

Yes that's a very good film. Brosnan is damn effective as the cold, calculating Russian spy. If only he was that ruthless as Bond!

Well, I can only say for films I have seen. Unfortunately, I have not yet seen The Hill or The Offence - a shame, as it seems they were very good indeed (and I love Ian Bannen!). Also need to see Seraphim Falls, Hot Fuzz, The Rocketeer, and Munich. They'd probably be on the list.

In no particular order, other than actor, then:

    Sean
The Man Who Would Be King
    The Untouchables
    Highlander
    The Hunt for Red October

    Roger
    The Sea Wolves

    Timothy
    The Lion In Winter

    Pierce
    The Thomas Crown Affair
    The Tailor from Panama
    The Matador

    Daniel
    Layer Cake
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Some films of Roger's I'd recommend:

    North Sea Hijack (aka Ffolkes)
    The Wild Geese
The Man Who Haunted Himself (this is a particular fav of mine)

    Sean:
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
    The Untouchables
The Man Who Would be King

    George:
    Gettysburg

    Timothy:
    Toy Story 3

    Pierce:
    The Thomas Crown Affair
    The Tailor of Panama

    Daniel:
    Munich
    Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
    Defiance

WHAT? George was in Gettysburg? Fantastic film!

No. Do Bond actors star in it?

Both The Offence and The Hill could be considered a bit as stage plays shot on film, don't expect too much. The Offence is very dark in every meaning of the word, it's interesting to see to understand Connery's mind during DAF period (and why he had problems with the producers after that : this movie was not distributed). In the Lumet/Connery works, the real weird one may be The Anderson Tapes (which has not aged well at all either).

The Man Who Would Be King is still Connery's best film IMO.

    Pierce Brosnan:

    Mrs Doubtfire
    Thomas Crown Afair
    Married Life
    Butterfly on a Wheel
    The Tailor of Panama
    After The Sunset
    The Matador
    Dante's Speak
    Robinson Crusoe
Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief
    Seraphim Falls
    Evelyn
    Laws of Attraction
    Mars Attacks!

    Daniel Craig:

    Layer Cake
    The Invasion
    Archangel
Tomb Raider / Road to Perdition

    Sean Connery:

    The Rock

    The Russia House
    Just Cause
    The Hunt for Red October
    The Avengers

Connery - Name of the Rose, Hunt for Red October, The Rock (a difficult watch with the highly irritating Cage), Rising Sun, The Anderson Tapes, Entrapment

Moore - North Sea Hijack, The Sea Wolves, The Quest (!) (haven't seen much of Roger Moore's work outside of the Bond series)

Craig - Layer Cake, Flashbacks of a Fool

Brosnan - The Fourth Protocol, The Lawnmower Man, Evelyn, Taffin, The Long Good Friday (he only features briefly, good luck with the strong British accents), and think there was something callled 'Night Train' from years ago, so will include him in that, that I can remember was a decent watch, if only the once

    Sean:

The Man who would be King
Robin and Marian (I never thought I could cry with a Richard Lester movie)

    Roger :

    The Wild Geese

    Tim :

    The Rocketeer

    Pierce :

    The Fourth Protocol

I haven't seen much of Georges (The Man from Hong Kong, and it wasn't really great) or Daniel so far.

I approve and whole heartedly recommend those choices =D>
