London Grammar are quite well known across Europe, I think. They were supposed to headline a festival not too far from where I live back in 2014, but had to cancel on short notice. They were replaced by St. Vincent - who @talos7 posted a video of on the previous page.
Arctic Monkey's new album was released last week. A bit different sound than the last album, A.M - still, it would be interesting to see them doing a Bond theme song.
Yikes. No thanks.
Actually prefer this album, Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino to the previous A.M - although A.M was a more "single friendly" album. No singles at all from this one. Their third album, Humbug, is still my favourite, but that's probably one of the least accessible albums in Arctic Monkeys' catalogue.
LOL at "least accessible."
That's understandable. It's not like Arctic Monkeys are for everyone. A.M - as I mentioned above, would be a closer fit to the CR style rock theme than anything else they've made. As for music charts, I really don't follow them either, but as far as contemporary music goes, I do enjoy a bit of Arctic Monkeys.
I'd really like a Depeche Mode theme song. Would no doubt be fantastic (and probably fittingly dark).
Will we get somebody from Universal.
I agree @Torgeirtrap, I would've liked Depeche Mode to have done the title song but preferably with Alan Wilder still within the band. Good thing is that they're on Universal Music Groups too.
Yeah, they were absolutely fantastic on the albums with Wilder still a part of the band. They've made some nice tunes recently, as well - but he did add something extra to their music.
That's a good point. In music (scores, etc.) and in films, does Boyle tend to return to those he's familiar with? Haven't seen any Boyle films, so I really don't know.

like the bits about saint Etienne and Brosnan much preferring their song to Crow's yawn fest
One of those other 9 (Sheryl Crow who did Tomorrow Never Dies is on the list too.)
Also there is one i never heard much from (Michelle Branch) and i think Britney Spears is missing.
