Eisner & Felner are working along side some folks from the War crime tribunal in The Hague but discover that they are up against a group of coldblooded fanatics.
A great TV movie in which we learn about the price for fanaticism and how people get manipulated in a false sense of nationalism at the cost of their own humanity.
We're the Millers (2013) Hilarious road movie, all the actors are great - special mention to Will Poulter. Althought Jennifer Aniston kind of looks old, her pole dance was so sexy!
Sex Tape (2014) Awful
Ride Along (2014) Pretty funny, but forgettable
Neighbors (2014)
A Million Ways To Die In The West (2014) Some of the jokes were hilarious, not as bad as I thought it would be
300: Rise of an Empire (2014) Again, better than I thought it would be
X Men Days of Future Past (2014) Awesome film! Same level as First Class, IMO.
This is a new era of Tatort much more action and sometimes OTT action, but sometimes a very grim outlook on Europe and its policies and life. There will be at least two more tv movies next year with the same team next year and that is something I really look forward to.
First, you must forget everything that was established in the first film. Lep's powers have somewhat changed and nothing about Jen Aniston and her posse from Leprechaun proves relevant to this second film - which may actually be a good thing. Instead, we get a much more enjoyable story with a little tension here and there, though still not much, a bit more comedy yet much less of the kiddy stuff that so haunted the first film, and frankly more interesting characters even if half of them can't act.
At this point they still didn't realise the truth: Leprechaun only works when you drop the little dude in totally different environments every time and give us something of a fish-out-of-water story. Still, this second film has a few entertaining elements to carry it beyond the boredom I suffered from when watching the first film.
Leprechaun II (1994): 3.5/5
Leprechaun (1993): 2/5
Thoughts? I really wanted to see this but never got the chance to.
Just to clarify, I wasn't asking if Dimi was doing a striptease, no, I was asking if he is watching all the Leprechaun films. From what I have heard, you would have to be a masochist to want to watch Leprechaun: Origins.
Return of the Jedi Has some of the best and worst moments oif the original trilogy. Though the finale is as brilliant as ever. Looking forward to the the original theatrical release on Bluray of the original trilogy.
You bet I am, @MajorDSmythe! Watch this space for me, and my little green dude.
I mean my leprechaun of course.
I mean... THE leprechaun. ;-)
Pink Panther director Blake Edwards cast lovely Lee Remick and cool Glenn Ford in this outstanding black-and-white thriller. Suspense is already built in the first seven minutes of the film and from there on we never relax until the film's climax. Henri Mancini provides a powerful 'film noir' score. Even if a few stones with story potential are left unturned, the overall plot is more than satisfying.
In lesser hands, Experiment In Terror could have easily become a Hitchcock wannabe project but fortunately Blake Edwards is confident enough to make it his own film. And I love every second of it. My kind of movie!
Love how undeniably British it is. It's almost like an English version of The Expendables...but obviously classier.
Also there's four Bond legends...Moore, Cain, Binder and Glenn.
Philadelphia (1993)
A Few Good Men (1992)
Under the Red Hood tragic and brilliant, two of the best animated films I have seen. Hopefully DCU movies will reach this level of excellence.
Sir Roger is great in it.
Watch out , we're mad 3/6
Mobsters destroy the dune buggy of Spencer & Hill and the boys want revenge.
Pleasence obviously had a great time hamming it up in this one :D
Never been much of a Bud & Terence fan but I guess this was passable.
Edge of Tomorrow
Really enjoyed it. As most time jumping flicks do, it suffers from a rather simplified conclusion that doesn't work with what came before. Despite this, Cruise was great, Blunt was a badass and looks damn good carrying a large weapon, and the action was top notch. Supremely well edited with a nice balance between emotion and humour, too. Would recommend.
New rules, no ties to the previous two films and a totally new setting: Warwick Davis' Leprechaun takes Vegas, baby! In this third instalment in the infamous Leprechaun series, we can relax and have some great fun. One of Lep's coins enters the Las Vegas casino circuits and several rather well-established characters make their individual wishes come true. But enjoy it while it lasts; Lep's coming for his gold and you better be careful what you wished for...
Leprechaun will never be very good. But at least with this third film they tried. The characters are mostly entertaining, their adventures neatly linked and our secret fantasies in which we can wish whatever we like exquisitely played out. Towards the final act, however, the best is behind us. What's left is surprisingly uninteresting. Yet the first two thirds of the film were surprisingly enjoyable!
So for better or worse, I'm going to say that this might be the one Leprechaun film that delivers the candy. As with most candy, it hurts the teeth, the stomach and the intestines, but the overall experience made me laugh a few times and got me to sit this one out in one effort where with the other Lep films I needed a few breaks to remind myself that my brains are still functioning the way they should. Lep III: possibly the best Lep in the series for me.
Leprechaun III (1995): 4/5
Leprechaun II (1994): 3.5/5
Leprechaun (1993): 2/5
Dom Hemingway (2013) Pretty good, Jude Law is amazing, but the film slows down a bit with the whole daughter subplot in the 2nd half.
Filth (2013) Loved it
It was stellar.
Thought Franco and Pinto were great, Serkis is the master of the CGI charaters! I look forward to seeing Dawn of the Planet of the Apes real soon!
"HAIL CEASER!!!!!!" :D
Agree great movie. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is even better in my opinion.
Excellent Dalton12! Will post my thoughts on it once i have watched it! :D
Not a great film, they tried to do a bit of everything, heist movie, buddie movie
Comedy, romance etc. and it doesn't work , only worth watching for Pierce
Brosnan and Naomie Harris, although Don Cheadle as an island crime boss
Is fun.
