Actually, I watched Repulsion (1965) this afternoon, and I was really freaked out. The very lovely Catherine Deneuve went through quite an ordeal, and the ending was extremely intense. Deneuve gave an excellent performance. And I was surprised to see Bond alumni James Villiers (Tanner in FYEO) in a small part!
Arguably the best of the Potter films.
Those shadow creatures, forget their name, gave my son nightmares when he was a kid.
Oh the feels are heavy with this one. But a very good film.
I know this will piss peeps off here, but I enjoyed LA a good bit more than NY due to the hilarity of the script. YES, it wasn't as atmospheric, YES, the CGI sucked at DAD levels, but the performances made the movie for me. Plus, best ending ever!!!
I always felt that this should have been a perfect 007 movie with de Niro being the 007 part.
Not a bad film. That's really all I have to say about. Just good enough to see once.

"Why am I always denied need-to-know critical information?"
While not a patch on the original cult classic, it's still great to see everyone's favourite paranoid survivalist, Burt Gummer, back in action.
I enjoyed this thriller, currently playing in theatres, immensely. It's based on the 2005 Argentinian novel originally titled La Pregunta de sus Ojos. It's basically about a hunt by a group of investigators over a 13 year period for the murderer of the teenage daughter of one of their own team.
Boasting an incredible cast, including Chiwetel Ejiofor, Nicole Kidman, Julia Roberts, Dean Norris, and Michael Kelly, the performances are absolutely superb by all concerned. There is depth to each character, and Ejiofor in particular is a joy to watch. Just brilliant, nuanced work.
There is a twist at the end so don't read any reviews. Just go in without any expectations and prepare to be immersed and entertained. It reminds me a little (in terms of the mood of the film if not the plot) of 2013's The Prisoners, so if you liked that, you might like this.
Recommended.

Tosca isn't for everyone
Ah, the dementors. Yes, they brought a pleasent surprise of creepyness to the film.
As for non bond on Halloween night I saw stigmata with a bunch of people I forgot how good it was. As for what is upcoming I plan on watching every bond and batman film within 2016 at some point..
@SaintMark
MMFR isn't a story driven film. It's barely a character driven film. It's a symphony of fights, storms, carmageddon and very loud bangs. Like a two hour acid trip with vibrant colours and powerful music and with a very bleak vision of a possible future as the connective tissue, Fury Road is a non-stop adrenaline rush. I'm not telling you this is the best steak that you ever had, to be judged by all the culinary standards in vogue. I'm telling you this is a bag of potato chips. But it's the best bag of chips you ever had.
I admire your passion to love material that you totally enjoy. Whether other people are totally not impressed by it, or disagree with you on the numbers of a BO. You really want to enjoy yourselves.
Again if MMFR is the best bag of crisps you've ever had, I am envious of you. Cause there is far better crisps out there you have yet to taste.
Boy that was a great film. Such distinction and flare. I had a blast. :-bd
I have the basic theatrical cut. I was hitting a Wal-mart bargin bin and went nuts. :P
