And the film includes the same air bag gag as SP. Ugh.
Why? because he looks like Brosnan Defender Of The Realm?.................... :))
Been wanting to see this for a while and finally caught up with it. Well worth the wait.
It's the sort of film you wished Cronenberg had made.
Loved the way it begins with this bizarre set up and gradually unravels in flashback to deliver the 'didn't see that coming!' twist.
Pretty much unclassifiable, but it skips across multiple genres with ease. A beautiful and grotesque film in equal measure.
It is my favoured version of the film - don't know if it changes the film in anyway but I would say get the longer version you won't (shouldn't) be disappointed!
I love that movie! Beautiful, yet disturbing, gave me some 'Eyes Without A Face' vibes.
I'm glad you didn't hate Civil War. Kudos to you for watching it at all.
Not sure if you have seen Guardians Of The Galaxy, which is my favourite of Marvel's and one of my favourites of all comic book movies.
Yep agree. Definitely had that vibe. Must re-watch Eyes Without A Face as it's been a long time since I watched it.
That said, I feel confident enough to say that right now, Cap's "trilogy" is my favourite of the Avengers series. I prefer these three films over the three IM films and both Thors.
I will do. There are too many Pedro Almodovar film's I haven't seen.
You and I both. The ones I've seen, I've really enjoyed, but there are still quite a few I need to get around to watching.
And... AIRPORT!!!!!!! ^:)^
I can't even bring myself to watch a free copy of it. Trailers told me enough.
Went to the cinema tonight for... The Nice Guys (2016)
Absolutely friggin fantastic. Goes straight as my favorite film of the year so far (sorry Civil War) and I don't think it will be overtaken (apart from 'Jason Bourne'). This is one of the fun and flat-out entertaining films I've seen in years, if not in over a decade. Move over, you huge blockbusters like Marvel, Star Wars, Bond, Mission Impossible (and I sure love these films, don't get me wrong) but 'The Nice Guys' eats these films for breakfast. I haven't laughed this hard in years, if ever. Russell Crowe is a f*cking legend, and showcases twice the charisma and badassery he has shown in 'Gladiator' and 'American Gangster'. Crowe and Gosling form one of the most entertaining duos seen in decades (atleast since Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson in Die Hard 3). This film will become a cult classic, just an endless succession of soon-to-be-classic scenes, one after the other, non stop for 2 hours.
To anyone who enjoy seeing high level of violence and humour with utterly badass stars, please go see this film now.
I'm totally pumped now that you've confirmed it's going to be killer. From the trailers, it gives off a vibe that's a cross between an Elmore Leonard & a Tarantino flick. Sadly, I'll have to wait one more week before I can see it.
If you are a fan of the Jurassic Park trilogy you should watch JW. If not, it's not necessary.
Jurassic World was able to re-create original vibe of the first two movies. I really liked it and Chris Pratt totally rocks. If you like him you have to see it.
But I can see why young people may find JW so-so. Compared to other fantasy stuff around, it's only just another fantasy-action flick.
The reason for its huge success lies in the timing. Whole generations like me who were around 18-30 in 1993 went to watch JW because of all the fond nostalgic memories.
When I went to see it last year several times the audience was mixed from teenagers to old people, something I had not seen to such a degree since Skyfall.
Oh, yes it can. The acting is a special kind of bad, and the ending is ludicrous. There's no need to watch it, just watch this;
And yes. That title image is of a man, on a motorcycle, leading his pack of raptors. ~X(
=))
