Simply : Fishes, insects seem to be non-sapient. Which means they are fair game. Just like in Madagascar.

Very good film. I was taken by how deep and adult it's story and themes were. I enjoyed it a lot.

It was awesome. My favorite Disney film since The Princess and the Frog. Certainly their best output of the 2010s.

Yeah but how do the predators survive if they can't you know what in Zootopia - how? How?

    Fish and bugs I suppose.

Really? All these years, I believed he married Ann-Margret... Some misinformation I've read somewhere...

Ginger claims Elvis wanted to marry her but I doubt it very much , he wouldve arranged it in a flash if he had any desire to marry her.

Batman begins second film of the day 3/4ths of the way through live free or die hard

Let's talk about batman begins. It's just a great film Nolan's pacing is good the casting is great the villain choice is top notch but I dunno post Affleck's I feel nolan's batman films are just ok.... There is something amiss honestly I just loved Affleck's portrayal do much that bale kind of pales in comparison... But there is still plenty to enjoy here the training montage is gorgeous Liam Nesson is fantastic (potential future 007) Cillian Murphy is great. Holmes is hot and the film as a whole is great. I dunno I just love the core actors of the screen cinematic universe a bit more and I feel weird saying that...
I will be writing my view on the fourth die hard in a moment

Since no one has responded I will just edit his post with the final films

Live Free or Die Hard: fantastic movie and should really be next to Die Hard 1-3 instead of the film is brilliant and well executed and yet somehow everyone claims its bad in fact I would rank it above 2 honestly Justin long is funny and Kevin Smith is good

Jaws: I am currently on victim 3 and you know what I will write my review now. This film is perfect always has been and always will be. I think it's because as crazy as it sounds I know the characters in the film as they are New England sterotypes I am around often (I have a coworker in IT who is self taught and is essentially Quint in real life down to the growl and disdain for me who he sees as his Hooper lol) the film feels real in a weird way I knew people like Vaughn I knew people like Hooper and Martin etc. in fact the only "flaw" I can think of is after a day of kind of eye candy jaws has no one super sexy (although in the other three films while Jessica Biel Katie Holmes and Maggie Q are super hot non of them are dressed in anything super sexy) but I guess that adds to the realness

Over all this film is just perfect and I will always love it. I feel everyone has the perfect movie and to me it's Jaws it beats batman it beats marvel it beats everything.

And in two weeks I will see the bond film that was inspired by Jaws the spy who loved me.

Yes, apart from a brilliant, creepy Stanley Tucci performance it was a little plodding.

    The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999)
It's been a long time since I saw this. A great movie, directed by Anthony Minghella, starring Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jude Law, Cate Blanchett and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

    Rachel Getting Married (2008)
A drama directed by Jonathan Demme. Anne Hathaway received an Oscar nomination for her role as a troubled young woman coming home to attend her sister's wedding. She was good. The movie was okay. I absolutely hated the camera work, the messy handheld stuff was awful to watch.

    Thunderbolt And Lightfoot (1974)
Directed by Michael Cimino, starring Clint Eastwood, Jeff Bridges and George Kennedy. This had a promising start, but didn't manage to keep its promises. Comedic undercurrents, and a fairly light tone for a long time, but eventually turned serious in both violence and its consequences. It was a weird mix. I liked parts of this but not really on the whole.

In The Heart Of The Sea (2015)
Directed by Ron Howard. A based on a real story historical film about a whaling ship Essex being attacked by a whale in 1820, and what happened to the crew after their ship sank. The best part of the movie is one of the surviving crew members (Brendan Gleeson) telling the story, long time afterwards, to Herman Melville (Ben Whishaw) - who later wrote a book called Moby Dick, inspired by the actual events.
I saw the trailer before this was released, and based on that I didn't expect to like the movie, but when there are Cillian Murphy, Gleeson and Whishaw in the cast list, I can't help but watch at some point anyway - even though they had minor parts. (Btw, why do directors think Chris Hemsworth is leading man material? He isn't totally useless, but seriously...)
The movie was not as bad as I had feared; certainly not great, but quite watchable. It felt like an ambitious attempt at an epic story that fell short, but it was better than its trailer.

@DarthDimi I have been invited to see 'Conjuring 2' today with some friends, however I haven't seen the original 'Conjuring' from 2013. Can I understand the 2nd film despite that? Are they very connected sequels or more like Bond films pre-2006?

I haven't seen it since it was in theaters, but I remember enjoying it and finding it to be quite touching, beautiful, and surreal. Tucci shined in it, as well (like he always does).

I think the issue critics had (but that I had only minimally) was that the story of a raped and murdered teenage girl is not supposed to be "touching" and "beautiful."

I found it unsettling. And I agree about Tucci, which leads me to the new "last movie" I have now seen: SPOTLIGHT, also available on Netflix. Tucci is good in this, as well. The film reminded me a lot of All the President's Men.

Nothing in this movie ties it to the original one.

just watched London has fallen - a guilty pleasure indeed - so bad it's good. The frontal attack on the terrorist hide out in London was actually quite good and a bit third act Bond.

    Star Trek (2009)
In preparation for my eventual viewing of Star Trek Beyond I rewatched the first film in the quasi rebooted series. I like the movie a lot, though it's not without faults. Which mostly falls with the villains. Nero's a poor substitute for a Khan esque villain and just not very unique. The design of the Narada is just stupid. Why would a mining vessel look like a bunch of swords and knives wrapped together? It's just a minor complaint really. Doesn't degrade the movie for me any. Another minor problem I have is the Spock/Uhura fling. It's just so contrived and just dull frankly, not very interesting. I'd prefer if that was gone completely. I do think the cast is really good especially Karl Urban. It was nice to see Leonard Nimoy as Spock once again. It's a fun, solid addition to the series, I'm looking forward to seeing how my rewatch of Into Darkness and my eventual viewing of Beyond shall be.

    The Revenant (2015)
This film was very slow and boring. Di caprio doesn't talk much in the film yet got an oscar.

@Birdleson, I'm surprised that a film connoisseur like yourself only just watched To Catch A Thief for the first time!

Perhaps I'm shallow, but this is a top ten film of mine, and North By Northwest is firmly my #1 of all time. I am just so impressed by how classy cool these films are (and how influential they were on Bond in particular) given when they were made. Did you notice the water scene in Cannes (which definitely inspired the Domino/Bond meet in TB) and the chase/picnic scene in Cote D’Azur (which definitely inspired the GE post titles and the FRWL picnic imho)?

Grant indeed could have made an incredible James Bond (a perfect combination of Connery/Moore).

    Legend of Tarzan (2016)

An enjoyable adventure film, but a discount version of 'The Jungle Book' released earlier this year. Takes about 30 minutes for the story to get going, but once it does, we're treated with a Christoph Waltz hamming it up as always, and a great comic relief from Samuel L Jackson, who seemed to have stepped of the set of Die Hard 3. The special effects are quite good, apart from a few very questionable CGI shots. However, the film contains the most annoying explosion ever caught on film - they managed to make the entire film without any of these, but they decided to finish the very last action scene with a huge ass explosion, I almost started screaming at the screen in anger.

Hathaway barely talked in 'Les Miserables' and got an Oscar, too. Dialogue isn't the only thing that goes into a good or bad performance - that's what, to me, made Dicaprio's performance so great.

I enjoyed the movie, but even I had to laugh at the very last frame, with Leo looking directly at the camera. It was like he was breaking the 4th wall and saying 'Can I PLEASE have that Oscar now??' :))

They say in Hollywood that you don't necessarily get an Oscar for one particular movie, but rather when you're due for one. Meaning Leo didn't get the Oscar for The Revenant in particular, but for his career. How else do you explain Halle Berry getting one for Monster's Ball? ;)

@Master_Dahark, agreed. It's why Scorsese never managed an Oscar for all those classics toward the beginning of his year, but finally got one with 'The Departed.'

Agreed - Pacino being another example. Or Newman imho.

DiCaprio had to live down cheesefest Titanic, and that took a while, but he's finally atoned for it now it seems.

Doing a full Kubrick-thon; I watched his first four (Fear and Desire, Killer's Kiss, The Killing, Paths of Glory) yesterday. Spartacus (1960) right now. I am having a great time.

I'd like to do a Kubrick marathon, as there are a few classics of his I've still yet to see, but I had a hard time trying to watch 'A Clockwork Orange,' I just couldn't get into it.

His movies definitely aren't for everyone. Still, I encourage you to watch the ones you haven't seen. I just get sucked in when I watch one. I enjoy all of his films.

I've loved almost all of his work I've seen thus far, I just wasn't really getting into that one like I had hoped. I'll give it another shot some day.
