And yes, great theme.
MI:3 and Oceans Twelve are two of the best films this century, when is comes to big budget popcorn fare.
Right away.
Ghostbusters in Ultra HD one of my all time favourite comedies, this is the best I have seen this film since watching it at the cinema.
The title definitely should have been changed. But other than that, it's... ok, noting more, nothing less.
What do you think about the ending? I really hate it.
At the start of that one, he's back in Crystal Lake like nothing happened.
(Mind you, I'm not exactly pulling my hair out over Friday the 13th logic.... but that did annoy me since I was a kid)
I remember seeing Jason takes Manhattan posters at my local theater-I must have been 5 or 6. I was so fascinated by it! 8-X
Did you watch it in surround sound?
In 3D surround sound it was a intense experience, will watch the beginning again over the weekend.
Just listening to Now Playing retrospective reviews on the Friday the 13th films, upto the Final chapter as I type I recommend to fans of the films.

I much prefer the Donner cut of Superman II The film gives glimpses of what might of been.
Epic scene!
Yes, this is a very large leap in logic. Consider also that the toxic sludge returning Jason to his form as a boy would theoretically mean no more movies as well! I suppose they just decided to start from scratch again. Speaking of which:
Have not seen it yet. I should. As for which ppl prefer, seems 50/50.
Me too! I also love the film noir George Reeves Superman episodes from the '50s. Actually I'll take any of the Chris Reeve films III and IV included over Man of Steel or Returns.
It's a patch work of a film though worth a look it really is for the most part a different film, it also rewrites the end of the first film giving us a idea of Donners original vision.
I'm not sure if I'll offend anyone by saying this, but I'm afraid this movie is absolute drivel... I'm not bothering with a complete review this time, but I warn everyone: do not watch this movie.

Superman and the mole men starring George Reeves is very good, the film has some profound moments.
I remember the months prior to release reading Fangoria, drooling at how awesome Jason looked! I remember seeing the poster at my local theater, with the chrome hockey mask, and thinking it would be the coolest thing ever!!
It was an exciting time. This was the first Friday the 13th of the 90's, and it ended up being the ONLY one!!!
What.
The.
Fuck.
Friday the 13th movies are great fun. I even enjoy watching the 'dumber' ones. We were cheated out of at least 5 Jason movies, thanks to Jason goes to Hell failing so hard.
Most annoying of all, it's happening even now! I long for the days when we had a new Jason movie ever year!
Does Jason throw a hat on a coatrack?
No, it's a gunbarrel homage, with Jason walking onto a similar iris from the right, except instead of shooting the audience he attacks them with his machete, revealing the title.
