I'm glad to see you gave my review a look. I love talking over Batman just as much as Bond. I agree with everything you said, especially the whole absence of moral qualms Bats has for killing, as I have stated several times to be my major gripe with the Burton films. Nonetheless, a very great film. Which do you prefer, this or the 89 Burton?
Exactly my feelings. Improvements literally all around. And how awesome was the scene where
Miaaauw!
(massive explosions ensue)
Haha, that is a good one! Which Burton do you prefer @Dimi? You are quite the big Batman fan as well.
My *current* ranking of the theatrically released Batman films:
1) The Dark Knight
2) Batman Begins
3) Batman 89
4) Mask Of The Phantasm
5) Batman 66
6) Batman Returns
7) Batman and Robin
8) Batman Forever
Amber Heard - proof that there is a god - Amber be thy name. My my, she has taken over Monica Bellucci as the most beautiful woman in the world.

She doesn't drive angry she drives me crazy.
@Dimi, how do you like Batman and Robin more than Forever?! Granted they are both abortive, but come on now...
At least Batman and Robin was in on the joke. Honestly, it's so laugh-out bad, I'm actually having something of a good time. B4Ever is just... not good.
I can see where you are coming from. B&R just comes off as garbage, while B4EVER tries to go the serious road. Neither work regardless.
This is a fine introductory film but this nowhere near the level of TDK although I've not seen TDKR yet I'm pretty sure this will be the weakest of the three but many trilogy's don't even get one film the same quality of Begins. Dark Knight tomorrow night been a few years I can't wait!
It has been called the Citizen Kane of cheerleader films. :)>-
Okay, I know this is a 'stupid' film but man, do I love it! Call it guilty pleasure, I don't care, but I find myself having a good time. And Eliza Dushku was a looker back in 2000 (she still is btw). ;-)
I think this and DHRFTG make up a saggy middle section of the Hammer: Dracula series. They're not bad as such, they just feel run of the mill. Seeing the little club that Hargood, Paxton & Secker attend, reminds me of the shennanigans that go on in the Mod Tea Rooms. :-\"
Hammer Horror Dracula Films:
1. Horror Of Dracula (1958)
2. Dracula: Prince Of Darkness (1966)
3. Brides Of Dracula (1960)
4. Taste The Blood Of Dracula (1970)
5. Dracula Has Risen From The Grave (1968)
I think Captain America was better than Thor.
I firmly agree but then I love the Captain America storyline and the aesthetics of the film a whole lot more than I do Thor's. I think we need the Thor film as a set-up for Avengers but I'm not excited for a Thor sequel as much as I am for a Cap one.
I LOVE IT :-bd
I'm quite fond of Satanic Rites.
Instantly become one of my favourite WW2 films. Loved that it had Allied, German and French Resistance perspectives, but I wish there had been more French Resistance parts. Giving it a 9/10.
Can anyone recommend me any films about the French resistance in WW2?
'Army of Shadows' (1969)
What about the 1st one?
Don't worry; I hadn't seen a single one until my friend forced me to watch them all straight through last year, and they were very entertaining. I, too, am really anticipating 'The Hobbit' now. The last I heard, I believe they are looking at three films now, instead of the original two.
Now that's better. Bonus points to the film for the casting of my 2nd favourite Doctor, the 2nd Doctor himself, Patrick Troughton as Dracula's servant, Klove.
Hammer Horror Dracula Films:
1. Horror Of Dracula (1958)
2. Dracula: Prince Of Darkness (1966)
3. Scars Of Dracula (1970)
4. Brides Of Dracula (1960)
5. Taste The Blood Of Dracula (1970)
6. Dracula Has Risen From The Grave (1968)
If they go for three, they'll need to announce it soon. Jackson said he would like to film up to an extra six weeks of footage so maybe three films are are on the cards? Also they'll need another title for the new one.
