Still hoping for Robin and Clayface (as a shape shifter) to appear. It's also rumored that 2 and 3 will film back to back.
I would still like Ben Affleck to do a graphic novel adaptation of his Batman script with Geoff Johns, akin to Batman '66 and Batman '89. It'd be good for all of us.
I watched the trailer a few times, its the first thing in a while i am genuinely excited for.
I thought the music in the trailer was great.
I really didn’t care.

I think this is a rumor.
I really don't understand why Reeve's Batman universe seems to be getting all these spin off shows. Honestly, I'm not really sure what a show about The Penguin will add, and I'm saying this as a fan of The Batman.
I'd agree with you if it weren't for my fascination with Colin Farrell's take on the character. I'm more eager to explore the series because of him, to be honest.
Yes, Colin Farrell is a joy to watch as The Penguin. I just hope that the show won’t be required viewing for The Batman Part 2. That’s why the MCU has been a turn off for some people. As I said before, The Penguin is starting to become the equivalent of General Zod in Batman media: overexposed, with little of a new take on it. While not as bad as Zod’s overuse, Penguin has become too predictable for me. He’s also one of few flaws of Batman TAS. In more ways than one. So, while I trust Matt Reeves and company, it’s time for new characters to get the spotlight.
Yes, at least Joker hasn’t been used as much as Lex Luthor! I’m sure another villain will be with him!
Great post. It seems that it’s always the easy path for writers of Superman to write Lex or Zod as villains. At least Batman writers don’t always have the Joker front and center. Batman: Caped Crusader is taking a risk not having the Joker, and I respect that. In my screenplay ideas for Superman, Lex and Zod will not be mentioned. His villains could be considered as great as Batman’s (and Bond’s), but WB really don’t take the chances they should.
A monumental day in Batman history: Kevin Conroy says his last lines as Batman publicly. He is still missed as an actor and a human.
Incredible.
Posted this scene a few times, it is the greatest of all time in the genre.
Mod edit: triple post. Please use the edit button, thank you.
Yes, it is definitely up there as one of the best. There’s more emotion in its 77 minutes than entire MCU phases.
If you care about the story and characters it goes a long way.
Will do, my apologies.
Please help us release it. A rare director’s cut that deserves to be seen publicly.
Less than two days away.
Episode 2 is much better.
I like what I've seen so far, though I must admit that I wasn't expecting another TAS. That bar is just too high for nostalgic fans such as ourselves. ;-)
