I had the 60s Batmobile, my brother has the 89 Batmobile and pretty much every other Batman toy you can get. :-)

What is your favorite batmobile ? Mine is The '89 one because it's such a beautiful looking thing and just screams Batman. To hell with how practical it may be; that car is iconic.

Agree the 89 Bat mobile is my favourite, though the 60s Bat mobile is a close second.

Agreed. Did you own the toy as a kid? I had that and the Batwing, they were pretty substantial toys! The best I had as a kid.

Now that is a line up of cars! :O

Thanks! It's from my garage. I have a separate one with all the Bond cars so you know, no big deal.
    :-S Someday.....

Stumbled across this cool little post on a Batman forum today. If you've ever wondered how old Batman was (in the comics), this guy has it pretty accurately figured out
The Mystery of Bruce Wayne's Age

    The Murder - Bruce's (15) parents killed

Pre-Batman - Bruce (19) looks to join FBI

Year One- Bruce (25) creates Batman

Year Three - Dick Grayson (13) becomes Robin

Year Seven - Babs Gordon (15) becomes Batgirl

Year Nine- Grayson leaves to go to collage.

Year Ten - Jason Todd (14) becomes Robin

Year Eleven - A Death in the Family, Joker kills Jason Todd

Year Twelve - Killing Joke, Joker cripples Babs Gordon.

Year Thirteen - Tim Drake (14) becomes Robin.

Year Fourteen - Knightfall, Bane defeats Batman

    Year Fifteen- No Mans Land

    Year Sixteen - Hush

Year Seventeen - Damien Wayne (10) becomes Robin.

Year Eighteen - Batman RIP, Batman's death

So with that said the original series ended with Bruce Wayne being 43, Dick Grayson 28, Babs Gordon 26, Jason Todd 22, Tim Drake 19, Damien Wayne is 11.

This was interesting to me because, before the New 52 reboot I was looking at all the Robin's this dude has gone through, and how many adventures he's been on and wondering 'just how the hell old is this guy now?'

I thought Bruce was from somewhere between 6 and ten when his parents died?? Definitely not 15 of all things.

Damn you're right-- can't believe I didn't notice that! Everything else seems in order though.

In Batman Year One we know he's 25; maybe the 15 was a typo from the OP

He was pretty young. I'd say somewhere between 8 and 10.

He said he was 7 years old when his parents died in one comic

Also am I the only one who loves the Batman one million costume.

Except for the mask I like it. It's just not the same when his face is totally covered. (Even though technically that makes more sense...)

Yeah, it differs comic to comic, writer to writer. I guess we just have to deal with the inconsistencies, considering the character is more than 70 years old.

I have no issue with it. It is like a mashup of Batman Beyond, Black Panther and Spawn.

That one million costume reminds me of black panther.

Michael Keaton is the best batman ever save for Conroy.

The 1960s and the 87/89 batmobiles are the best.

Arkham Origins will be bought on day of release without fail.

Edit: sorry I had Dalton on the mind with the whole 87/89 thing. Yeah I meant batman 89.

That's GREAT! Plus, the costume allows even a guy as white as me to do it!

Here's an unused poster from 1989's Batman rather than the simple, straight image of the Batman logo, which to me looks more like Judge Dredd than Batman....

Wow I've never seen that poster - nice find! !
I've always appreciated the simplistic 'logo' poster but I have to admit: if my 6 year old self saw that hanging at the local cinema I would have gone into shock from awesomeness!
