A more Robert Pattinson Batman controlled sequel on the way? Red Hood please!
Something we’ve been waiting for for over 30 years.
Superman 78 is also getting one.
Ah they've sorted out the logo on his chest! :) Not sure about giving him a comics-style blue cowl and cape though- he doesn't look right to me.
Condiment King Confirmed?
I would support this. The question is who would be responsible for the restoration with Joel Schumacher gone?
Poison Ivy 55
Happy anniversary......
Perhaps Akiva Goldsman. He recently stated he watched the unedited cut recently. I’d love to see the directors cut of Batman Forever, as a kid it was my favorite of the original 89-97 Batman films, and I still have a huge nostalgia for the film. Plus Val Kilmer is the most underrated Batman out of all of them.
In the past, I generally have held a higher opinion of Batman Forever. My last viewing of it wasn't the greatest, but I'd be very interested in seeing a less goofy and more dramatic version of the film. Kilmer always had been one of my least favorite Batmans, but there's a deleted scene on the DVD with Bruce reflecting on things in the Batcave that really shows both Kilmer and the film in a more positive light. If that scene is just a taste of what the Schumacher edit would be, then this is one director's cut that really needs to see the light of day.
No.
Not watching Batman & Robin helps though.
I personally enjoyed reading one of the earlier drafts for Batman Forever. It’s largely the same as what we get in the film/deleted scenes, but also includes direct references to the Burton films, and addresses the lives that Batman himself has taken. The films novelization does the same as well, and gives more background into characters like Two Face, Riddler, and even ties up some of the loose ends from Batman Returns. I give Batman Forever some credit for attempting to explore the mind of Bruce Wayne 10 years before Nolan and Co. did, it just fell victim to the studios desire to make things as light and kid friendly as possible after Batman Returns. Apparently the directors cut sits in the WB Vault. In a post Snyder Cut World, what’s the harm in releasing it?
It seems like there is a stockpile of potential reasons for this.
He is the greatest without a doubt. I'd love it!!
New look at Billy Dee Williams as Two-Face in Batman 89.
Ford back as Jones
Keaton back as bond
Bring back Dalton as 007 … come on it’s the one trend we all want EON to jump on
Fair enough, even if it’s for a video game.
After some looking I saw it ID'd as a Mercedes-MayBach Vision 6 Cabriolet.
There is a vintage black Corvette Stingray plus a silver gull-wing Mercedes also featured.
