I actually completely forgot Turturro was cast in this. Another solid choice.

UN-like having Bruce Davison portray Senator Kelly in X-Men...(he melted, so, y'know, not a "solid choice")

The actor didn't really melt. That was just something they did with special effects for the movie. He's been in other movies since then.

Next you'll be telling us that Anthony Zerbe's head never exploded.

I mean, I'm pretty sure they were special effects. Anything's possible, I guess.

I definitely remember seeing him in at least one other movie since then. The guy who played Heller on the other hand...

I am so looking forward to this, I can tell it is going to be VERY noir. It wouldn't shock me if it even had noir style voiceover.

    Cannot wait!

Avoiding all the TV spots and additional Trailers since the second Trailer for The Batman, looking forward to the film and going in knowing very little about it which I am very happy about being a huge Batman fan. I did notice the run time though this could be an epic.

Gorgeous art there: they definitely should have been bold and done the poster like that.

I've always felt The Caped Crusader would have been a better title for the film though.

What is insane to me is in 2012 the first rumors about a solo batman film was that it was going to be titled The Batman and here we are

Sure the rest of the rumors of Mad Hatter and kgbeast being the villains turned out to be crap

On a random note about me I am on call that week and my boss loves to fuck with me so I am tempted to wait a week and watch it when I am not on call so I can enjoy the film

I might have to check this one out, if only to see Keaton return as Batman and get to enjoy the legendary Fraser as a bad guy.
  • So is this in the Snyderverse then if Simmons is playing Gordon?

    I think so.

I would like to see Mr. Freeze readapted, but I would love to see other Batman villains get their chance to be adapted for cinema.

I don’t know much about the comics but I remember Freeze being a great villain in that animated film in the 90s.

I’m not sure if it’s a film or a TV show, but it’s the second thing Keaton is in as Batman I think. He’s going to be everywhere, although weirdly not in a Batman film!
