Time to reserve my opening night ticket then.
:D
After what Reeves did with The Planet of the Apes, I have complete faith.
So when are you seeing it?
And you @007ClassicBondFan, I feel you on the excitement. In all honesty, I might be more excited for this than No Time To Die. The James Bond franchise is my home and base, but this particular Batman film just has its hold on me :)
Sooner than most here, it seems.
That’s how I feel also. The Batman has my attention, and that was going all the way back to that costume reveal they did. Hard to think we’ve made it all this way to the movie, it’s kind of bittersweet
Just as excited for Batgirl as I am for The Batman!
Ha! That's great
Yeah, I plan to listen to it later. Have you listened to it? And who would you say Giacchino was influenced by?....Elfman? Goldenthal? Zimmer? Junkie XL? Or did he just sound like himself?
But overall I'd say it feels original to this film. One of the last tracks nearly brought me to tears.
Oh, sounds like a cool Batman score then, mostly because it reminds you of Zimmer! 🙂 I can't wait to listen to it!
Well, I must say that @Denbigh put it best: it's mostly its own thing... as it ought to be.
Oh, that's also cool.
Hear hear! And I agree, having listened to the score -- which is nearly two hours long! (and I say that as a good thing) -- I do pick up a few lines and bars from the Barry playbook.
Honestly! I couldn't agree more!
I'm guessing the tearjerker track should be All's Well That Ends Farewell...right? Because I felt the same way too.
