    Did you check the running time? 175 minutes! Hopefully is has a good pacing and a good story.

    And you @007ClassicBondFan, I feel you on the excitement. In all honesty, I might be more excited for this than No Time To Die. The James Bond franchise is my home and base, but this particular Batman film just has its hold on me :)

    That’s how I feel also. The Batman has my attention, and that was going all the way back to that costume reveal they did. Hard to think we’ve made it all this way to the movie, it’s kind of bittersweet

    I've even read the Before The Batman light novel aimed at ages 8 to 12. 😁 Took me less than 45 minutes. Nothing particularly interesting, but it sort of set the mood. I am sure we can discuss the film at length, @Denbigh.

    Yeah, I plan to listen to it later. Have you listened to it? And who would you say Giacchino was influenced by?....Elfman? Goldenthal? Zimmer? Junkie XL? Or did he just sound like himself?

    There are moments that remind me of Zimmer and others that remind me of Elfman. Nothing so far sounds like Walker or Goldenthal or Junkie XL or Drake or ...

    Yes I heard the Riddler theme on the radio on the weekend and I thought it was surprisingly Elfman-ish, in that it sounds quite fantastical and almost fairytale-like.

    But overall I'd say it feels original to this film. One of the last tracks nearly brought me to tears.

    Elfman-esque ? Hmm...will we have Batman puzzling over the Riddler's, well, um, riddles and musing aloud "What's this ? What's THIS ?!!?" Which then takes me to wondering...how long before someone proposes Batman - The Musical ? Like some other big, spectacular musicals, it would concern a guy who lives lavishly, yet sometimes wears a mask and uses a cape and travels to dark, nasty places in his hometown and is misunderstood by many, even as he lingers among them. Will he sing out to Catwoman ? "Come to me !!!!" Uhh, yeah, I jest, but...is it just a matter of time ?

    Wow!!!! I love the score. It certainly suits Batman. But I'm also hearing James Bond in it. Can't Fight City Halloween sounds like Barry's James Bond...especially its opening minutes. Catwoman sounds femme fatale in a Bondian way. I'm sure I'll decipher more Bondian tracks with a deeper listen. I don't think Michael Giacchino is far away from composing a Bond film.

    I'm guessing the tearjerker track should be All's Well That Ends Farewell...right? Because I felt the same way too.
