Oh now you made me want to watch VI again. I love Angry Spock. ;)
Yes, I liked it too, though I knew about its poor reputation.
It also has a fantastic soundtrack by Jerry Goldsmith. :)
Oh yeah.
It's not my favourite, but definitely watchable. The only Trek movie I can't watch again is Generations.
Not the best but still an enjoyable film. I quite liked Tom Hardy's performance. It's kind of sad when Data dies. As far as the Next Generation films go, I like 'First Contact' the best. Love the Borg.
Yes, I was quite surprised when Data was killed off, although they did have the B-4 clone of Data on the Enterprise to soften the blow a bit.
What are the Bond references?
Agreed.
That would be telling. I'm keeping that for an article due to appear on The Bondologist Blog!
:))
Was that a quote from Star Trek?! If so, you forget that I'm rather new to all of this, @chrisisall! :)
Yes, I think I remember reading that in one of 'The Prisoner' books that I have. A strangely brilliant show that.
"Really?"
"Shut up, Wesley!"
Best part, right there.
VIII First Contact rivals The Wrath of Khan as the best of the Trek films and I always wished they had stopped here.
X Nemesis was a waste of time.
Nice one!
Happy Hanukka.
Some of these places would double well for an alien planet:

Sorry, Star Trek to ME is more than explosions & a giant bent Enterprise.
>:/
Me too. Shatner himself said that the last two films have no heart. The two last Star Trek films are merely action films with little else just like the Brosnan Bond movies. The ST films are supposed to be thought provoking suspenseful thriller/dramas with a bit of action on the side.
