The Archies - Sugar, Sugar
Gladys Knight & The Pips - Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me
I recently bought Gladys Night and the Pips 'the Way We Were' Greatest Hits CD, I forgot how great there songs were.
Zoom is great, for years i convinced myself Stevie Wonder sang that track lol
As they have got back together I have been listening to there first three Albums which are far superior to the rest. Definitely Maybe is very good.

Paint It Black - The Rolling Stones (Remastered)
I love this track.
---
Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You - Led Zeppelin HQ (with lyrics)
The Rolling Stones are great though Led Zeppelin are greater.
Led Zeppelin - What Is And What Should Never Be (HD)
Genius rock and blues track hybrid, I always replay this track after listening to it.
Led Zeppelin - Immigrant Song
Since I've Been Lovin' You - Led Zeppelin HQ
Black Dog (Remaster)
Jimmy Page ^:)^
Led Zeppelin Stairway to Heaven HQ
One of the greatest songs of all times.
Greatest .
I Don't Know You - I think this was my introduction to the band. The first few times I heard this, I had to drop everything, it's a real 'moment' song. Instant nostalgia and just a beautiful vibe:
I Got Heaven - chaotic punk verses and almost shoegazey chorus make this a real treat. Language warning!
OK? OK! OK? OK! - one of the heaviest off the album, sounds very Nirvana:
My Silver Linings - First Aid Kit
First Thing I Become - Dark Fair
Road Runner - Bo Diddley
Mona - Bo Diddley
Spaces In Between - Cat Bear Tree
@Dwayne is this better than Jealous Guy?
Pink Floyd - Us And Them (2023 Remaster) - The Dark Side of the Moon
Two phenomenal albums.
Found this CD in a charity shop today, i had this on tape way back when. Isaac Hayes is a legend.
One of the greatest songs of all time.
The Beatles - Something
George almost wrote the two best Beatles songs.
This is amazing @Dwayne
Clapton the greatest.
Layla
One of the greatest songs of all times.
The Beatles - Don't Let Me Down (Take 1) | Rooftop Concert
Legendary.
This may be my favorite Beatles song.
John Mayer with Keith Urban - Don't Let Me down
This cover has 28 million views.
As for "Something", the video is equally poignant. At the time of the video's filming, the Beatles had already broken up - although it wouldn't become public knowledge until April 1970. It's also painful to note that four of the people in that video are no longer with us (John and George, of course, but also Linda and Maureen). There is a great moment in the Peter Jackson documentary where you see all four of them (along with Yoko, Linda and Maureen) after the rooftop concert as they are listening to the playback. Their closeness, even by this point is quite touching.
As for Geroge having "almost" written the best two Beatles' songs, well "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "Eleanor Rigby" would like a word with you! :D
And in tribute to the late Sergio Mendes ......
=((
Love Love Love - The Feminine Complex
I think The Feminine Complex had a potential to be popular back then in 60s, they're great, the song above is an example of that, while not as punk as Suzi Quatro and The Pleasure Seekers, I prefer the harmony and melody of this band.
The Warning, I think is one of the great bands of today, nuff said, Choke is my favorite song of them, of all their songs, by far, my favorite, Daniella Villareal, I would argue is a better rockstar than Joan Jett, she has the range and her guitar playing skills and charisma on stage are so better than Jett, even Ale (the bassist) she's cool.
I re watched all the news footage of John's death yesterday and interviews with his killer, such a terrible tragedy, Paul summered it up saying Chapman was 'the jerk of all jerks'.
True The Beatles have so many incredible songs I could pick another few as there best tomorrow.
What a tune.
Let It Be Naked is a million times better than what we got in 1970.
One After 909 (Naked Version / Remastered 2013)
Across The Universe (Naked Version / Remastered 2013)
Probably my favorite Beach Boys track, it showcases Brian Wilson's genius.
I was listening to License to Kill then this great track appeared.
Gladys Knight And The Pips-Home is Where the Heart is
Gladys Knight is a legend.
Gladys Knight & The Pips - Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me
Gladys vocal on 'The Best Thing Ihat Ever Happened To Me' is arguably the very best, Gladys Knight vocal control is incredible.
LICENCE TO KILL HIGH DEFINITION
It's really a great Bond theme, one of my favorites, she's a great singer, yes, her vocal control is an evidence of her great singing talent, she's up there with Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones and Adele as one of the best Bond theme singers.
One of the best Bond films IMO, I was lucky to see it in the cinema, back in the day I listened to the radio for hours hoping to tape the theme song.
It's a terrific undervalued theme. I bought the vinyl single at the time, which had the LTK teaser poster on the front!
