Pulled the trigger yesterday on a new ceramic! To say I am overjoyed is an understatement! Thanks again for your advice, @bondjames !
Mine is the pre-ceramic one with the wavy dial. I'm wearing it today on Christmas day..
And have a Merry Christmas!
To NATO or not to NATO, that is the question!
Seiko 0674-5009 Quartz LC
^My first completed watch prop. This one took me a while to find, and then, it was just the case I received, so I also had to find a similar bracelet to look the part. The inner module, I think, is damaged beyond repair, so I slipped a mock-up screen in there for display purposes.
Seiko M354-5019 Memory Bank Calendar
^This one was the first genuine Bond watch I acquired. The bracelet is neither the original nor the one seen in the film (different clasp) but the link pattern is identical.
Seiko H357-5040
^The bracelet is not the correct one, but close enough for now. I had to swap around parts from two watches to get the face to look accurate. I've painted the bezel/frame and have the front speaker attached, but there's no speaker on the back just yet.
^These here are non-Bond toy watches, but I thought I'd show them while on the topic. The two on the left fire plastic bullets (check out the Roger Moore likeness on the card). On the right, the watch strap holds the ammo for the bullet firing tobacco pipe... (something every kid should have) And as you can see on the illustration, our hero spy has a perfect aim! :))
Zeon FYEO Melody Alarm Chrono w/ box & original mail-away flyer (1981)
^Perhaps the oldest and most valuable Bond promotional watch I own is this Zeon FYEO Melody Alarm Chrono. Also released was a black plastic version with identical illustrations on the box-on-card packaging, but without the film title on the watch face.
^My watch came with its display case, illustrated cardboard packaging and original mail order flyer.
^Before this purchase, I had just missed out on owning the French version, which has the words 'RIEN QUE POUR VOS YEUX' (FYEO) on the face.
Zeon Melody Alarm Chrono w/ Roger Moore on card (1981)
Imperial Toys Secret Service watch w/ light up dial & Roger Moore on card (1984)
GE64 Nintendo Power holographic watch w/ box (1997)
Golden Wonder watch (TND promo) (1998)
^To promote TND, snack company Golden Wonder was offering this watch when you send away 5 promo crisp packets plus £5.
Zeon Animated Talking Watch (2000)
^I also have a loose spare to play with. When you press a button, it tells you the time, plus playing back familiar quotes such as "The name's Bond, James Bond" and "So, we meet again, Mr. Bond". These are accompanied by fun little animations. Understandably, it has a rather bulky case- and looks even more so on my skinny wrist.
^In this last shot, you can clearly see my reflection ;)
I kept some of the promotional crisp packets, too:
Nice! I don't have any of those packets. Would be cool to get a hold of these to compliment the watch! There were also some Golden Wonder drink coasters with Bond trivia on the back.
Speaking of which, did you get your beer mats?
Oh! I need to look out for these. Just my sort of thing!
I did! I'll put together a post for the 'Your Bond collection' thread.
I wasn't aware that Dalton's stunt double in LTK wore a previous gen 5513 Submariner, which is the watch being auctioned with sale estimates in the $80K to $120K range. This is also the same generation model which was worn by Roger Moore in LALD /TMWTGG.
I know for a fact that Dalton himself wore the newer Submariner Date 16610 with magnifier (which was most visible during the Wavekrest scenes). If that particular piece came up for auction, it may fetch more, but perhaps Dalton kept it.

I'll have to keep a look out for the older style watch when I next view the film. Sorry for the geek post.
It says it's a Submariner but it's modeled after the Sea Dweller Deep Sea. Even the dots on the bezel.
And no, the watch is not legitimate.
Thought I’d also go and show off a bit, using a cigarette case and a lighter similar to Sean’s. Might attract the attention of the female of the species. :))
I have one of the 'steel bagelsport' watches that were doing the rounds on ebay and elsewhere back in 2012. Silly name, but damn, it's a sturdy and nicely made watch for 26 bucks - well, that's what it cost me back then - prices have since skyrocketed :O Looks quite like a submariner date with the bubble.
Example here (not my photo):
