Looks like the endoskeleton has some extra armour/detail on it this time, specifically on that Y-shaped part on the upper arm and on the wrist/forearm.

Are we in a different dimension-? A dimension where Arnie is an Oscar winner and I suddenly start double posting?

Here's a new trailer with some stuff we haven't seen

I want to like this, but none of these trailers have done it for me. It looks like it'll be another disappointment.

Also, here's an on-set interview with Jason Clarke. His replies to the interviewer's questions make absolutely no sense whatsoever:

I will brave it, and if it is no good I will delete it from memory as I have T3.

@chrisisall, I hardly go to the theaters anymore. They release too much garbage these days for me to constantly waste my money on such a gamble. I'll wait for this to hit Redbox. They keep talking about trying to make it better than T2, yet all the trailers convince me of is that it's a lesser remake of the first two, with lots of bad CGI.

There was a small bit in that last trailer that reminded me very much of the AVTAK finale, with Bond holding Stacy from falling from the Golden Gate Bridge.

I agree that the trailer looks a bit dull - copying lines from TDKR ("There's a storm coming") without the delivery is not a good sign. I'll keep hope alive of course, but this is the one possible blockbuster that I have my doubts about this year.

You mean, copying from the original Terminator, right?

"There's a storm coming" Lol, this line, or a variation, has been used in so many films; it's now a running gag with me and my daughter. Sometimes we're driving along and I'll look at her and say "There's a storm coming" She in turn rolls her eyes. :)

Brand new trailer- this movie looks fun, but I can tell already it will be full of eye rolling humor just like T3 ('Nice to meet you')
Maybe it's just me, but this new trailer gives away a lot of potential surprises, particularly regarding John.
This is looking like a good popcorn movie though- I'll be there day one with a group of friends!

The new trailer gives away far too much. Interesting, though, to see that they'd go that direction given that it does bear, even if only in passing, some resemblance to a plot point that was originally planned for Terminator Salvation.

What makes me MOST nervous about the trailer, is the very end when we see old Arnold vs young Arnold. It clearly takes place before young Arnold steals the clothes, and unless the battle involves ridiculous 'Austin Powers style' censoring, then it appears the Ken doll rumors might be true....

Not that I WANT to see Arnold's wiener schnitzel, mind you, but it throws out tons of continuity and common sense!!

They could easily have kept the film as is, and cast Bale as Connor, and Yelchin as Reese. Everything else could have been the same but it would have appealed to both sides of the coin

I think the problem there is that they'd have to pay a lot of money to get Bale when it seems like John Connor isn't even a big part of this film.

Salvation had a lot of potential but overall I thought it was pretty crap. I'm glad they got Arnie back but I'm not too excited for this one either. Jai Courtney being in it doesn't help (why do people keep giving him work?).

Actually, this latest trailer makes it seem as though John Connor's a much bigger part of this film than I assumed he'd be.

I was thinking the same thing @Agent007391
It would be cool to have Bale back, but the new guy is growing on me

Eh, John Connor's never been played by the same person twice (or even twice in this very film, since young John Connor seems to be in it), so, while I wanted Bale back, I knew he wouldn't be.

Though, given what is shown in that trailer, Bale could have been getting his American Psycho groove back.

Confusing a lot. When i saw Marcus Wright / Sam Worthington in T4 i first think it was John Connor. Sometimes i also confuse John Connor and Kyle Reese. This new Kyle Reese look like very much on Sam Worthington and Jason Clarke who played John Connor i think be a better look Kyle Reese.

The sad thing is, the Stunt doubles for Kyle and Sarah look more like Michael Biehn and Linda Hamilton.

If there's one thing we know for certain about the movie: good or bad, here's Arnold looking at his bank account. ;)

Have to agree that to me their appears to be a few spoilers in there? Still not going to the cinema though.

If not Bale, couldn't it have been some fun casting to bring back Michael Biehn as John Connor?

I mean, he looks very different from his appearance as Reese, but close enough that he could be 'related'. It would make sense for Connor to resemble Reese since they're father and son. Biehn would be PERFECT

I think it could have been an awesome addition to the movie- and Terminator fans everywhere would go nuts

*edit- but then of course, Jai Courtney would look even more miscast....

    Looks rubbish :(

The one good bit was the look Arnold gives Sarah as he takes the gun.
