Oh, that logo is incredible. That title alone will get so many butts in seats when it comes time for the film's wide theater release.

Tell that to this imbecile on another site:

"This picture is OVER before it was ever started. Cavill's name is nowhere to be found. Just wait until Jesse Eisenberg gets involved in the scheme of things. What a joke. I hope they cast Paris Hilton as Bruce Wayne's love interest to end this tragic farce quickly. I have watched The Avengers 10 times already on cable tv and it is a marvelous film with perfect casting throughout. The IN-justice League film will be rotten to the core. I feel it's not correctable either and will be delayed constantly once they see what Affleck does to the franchise. I would not sit through this future film for free."

I'm not sure about "Dawn of Justice" (why not just call it "Prelude to Justice League, since that's what the movie's pretty much become), but at least they kept the Batman Vs. Superman part.

Agreed, though not as long as 'Dr. Strangelove' or the final 'Hobbit' film.

You can tell they tried to shorten the logo by changing 'vs.' to 'v'.

    Is that from DCINB.com? ;)

I think it'd be better if they just shortened it to Batman v. Superman, but that's just me. The "Dawn of Justice" part seems to allude to the beginning of the JLA, hence the inclusion of characters like Wonder Woman and Cyborg in the movie. It could also mean the beginning of Batman and Superman's partnership after they fight it out. If we get an adaption of The Dark Knight Returns including their epic face-off in the finale, I will be jumping in my seat with joy. My only hope is the Joker is far, far away, not mentioned or even alluded to in the slightest.

I agree, after all this time, I would prefer 'Batman v. Superman.' Every film these days doesn't need a subtitle to it.

Or it could have a Kubrickian touch...

Batman V. Superman: Or How a Rich Playboy With A Conflicted Past and Quest For Justice Met An Abandoned Alien Turned Kansas-Raised Boyscout Trying to Discover His Identity And Purpose On Earth.

It's a story of mis-matched friendship, really, and how we can join together to fight a common cause though we may be different.

I like the title. It makes sense. And that logo is awesome. I don't care what people say. The haters will come crawling out of their cave anyway; they'll bring the sticks and stones and the apish moans and get barbaric on this film. Their arguments will be about as smart as "this film sucks because it isn't a Nolan film" or "can't stand Snyder so can't stand this movie". We've seen it with the months leading up to Casino Royale too.

@DarthDimi, I think I'm one of the only ones that likes Snyder's work. 'Dawn of the Dead,' 'Sucker Punch,' and 'Watchmen' were amazing.

@DarthDimi as I disliked Man of steel I will not be overly enthousiastic for this one, even if I am of the opinion that the new Batman can only evolve upwards from Nolans trilogy.

Darth, its a fundamental casting problem...

I thought Arkham Origins was disappointing but this looks fantastic. It looks visually amazing, the fighting should be as fun as ever and getting to drive the car will be brilliant.

I'm worried we're going to have yet another lifeless city though, with this evacuation idea. With Arkham City fair enough, it made sense (it is a prison city after all) but one of the reasons I didn't bother completing Arkham Origins is that the city was just so lifeless and their excuse for it was so poor (it's snowing outside so NOBODY would be out there apart from Batman and the criminals? Not a single car driving somewhere? Really?). They seem to have a decent story reason for it this time but still, you'd think as this is the fourth game, they'd have managed to make a proper massive, living city by now. Assassin's Creed does it every year.

I think while City was the most fun to play, Asylum is still my favourite of these games. I just loved the whole Die Hard scenario: one guy trapped in one location facing a ton of bad guys, and there was a really dark, creepy atmosphere with deranged inmates screaming their heads off, blood soaked corridors, etc, that I thought was lost in the sequels.

You're not alone; I like him too. A lot of the people that criticize his Watchmen adaption haven't read the graphic novel, making their opinions near worthless.

I thought Sucker Punch was fun and I really enjoyed Dawn Of The Dead but I hated Man Of Steel and as this is the sequel, I'm worried I'll get a similar film.

I absolutely hated MoS. I'm no fan of Snyder either. But I will still be enthused about seeing this new film. I will pass judgement after I've seen it rather as opposed to before. (Unlike one or two here and those on other sites).

One of the reasons I'm excited about the new game is that Scarecrow is the baddy. I thought the bits where you fight him in Asylum were brilliant and it'll be nice to fight a villain that isn't the Joker (that twist in Origins where he turned out to be the main villain really annoyed me because I liked the look of that crime lord guy who they advertised as the main villain).

I like the title "Dawn of Justice", with regards to the rest of it? I would have dropped the whole Superman v Batman bit as the logo tells you all you need to know! :-bd

So, a bit more detail from the interview with Kevin Smith I posted yesterday:

The Batsuit is blue and gray.

But the blue is very muted- he posted this image and said this was pretty much it:

    http://www.joblo.com/movie-news/kevin-smith-says-batman-vs-superman-batsuit-is-blue-grey

I know he says blue and gray, but if he's serious about it looking like that comic image, it sure looks more like dark gray and gray (which I think I'd prefer)

Kevin Smith said the suit looks like the one from the third issue of The Dark Knight Returns, which features a black and gray suit, not blue and gray. The latter suit is from issue #2, not #3.
