The film has moved up in schedule by roughly two months to March 26th, 2016:

Agreed, especially when films are booked six years in advance. That's a bit extreme. It's nice to know that the higher ups are on top of it in terms of planning, but you're right, there's no fun in it. There won't be any more release date surprises for those films.
Crazy.
Marvel selling off some if their hottest properties early on could be seen as both a good and bD thing but in the end it's because of them selling off their hottest and iconic properties Narvel were able to start making their own movies and they put a plan in place to strategically build and set up phases within their own continuity and it's worked out wonderfully. WB pulling that dick move of moving their Supes/bats movie on the sane day as Cap3 just goes to show how desperate they are and how out if their depth they are in trying to even compete with Marvel on this level.
Guardians of the Galaxy, an obscure group of heroes from the 60s that failed to make an impression gets revamped and reintroduced only a few years ago from which the movie is based and is getting critical acclaim and making huge numbers! A film with a talking raccoon and a tree that repeats the sane 4 words over and over again getting this much success?? You damn right WB/DC are moving away from Cap3 and that's not even mentioning the greatness of Cap2 and what will be one if the biggest movies of the year next summer, Avengers age of ultron. WB/DC should focus on being reasonable and realistic in trying to put the best possible product out there instead of trying to ape and compete with Marvel. Marvel did and are still doing the leg work and hard grafting in taking risks with bringing their properties to the big screen over a reasonably effective period of time. DC/WB have no faith in doing a proper sequel to MOS so they've lumped batman, Wonder Woman, cyborg and a couple of others for this movie.
