Excellent!!!! Lets hope they make it a showstopper as it is going to need to be in the face of the Marvel juggernaut!

I think it needs to be a bit more than just a simple showstopper, especially considering it won't be coming out until after the next Avengers film, which is already highly anticipated.

Sounds good, kind of how I imagined it, since seeing set pics I've thought they'd make it so that Bruce was their during the Superman/Zod fight.

It is cool. Thanks. I stared at the bat logo gif over and over, took a quick look at the others and then stared at the bat some more. Yes, I'm biased.

Isn't the teaser supposed to be out today? It's now officially Wednesday in my time zone.
  • Hated 'Man of Steel' and have very low expectations for this. Last good Superman was II, and that was 34 years ago.

I hope not. Turning a 2 1/2 hour movie into two 2 1/2 hour movies would be ridiculous.

Maybe it is a longer movie than 2 1/2 hour we don't know.

I think it is a good decision. Having The Justice League formation spread over two films allows the characters and the narrative action more space to evolve naturally.

    Yes, exactly.

If this is in fact true, this might be the best possible move Warner Bros and DC has done. The reality is that the studio for superhero movies isn't in a good place. Nolan Batman aside, they have yet to have another superhero franchise that rivals what Marvel Studios has done. And that is a shame. The reason why is because DC/ Warner Bros. have all of there properties. This is something most MCU fans cannot even argue against, as DC could do some real good with the properties they have. Focusing on Batman Vs. Superman, the reason why splitting into two parts works is because of the premise of setup. Most audiences know who Superman is in this movie. Thus, a load of focus can be placed on Batman. Assuming Snyder takes influence from the Dark Knight Returns, this could lead into some wonderful showcasing of Batman and how he could plausible exist within the Man of Steel Mythos. This can also led credence into understanding why Batman may come to distrust Superman. And the second part can be about Superman and forwarding the plot. Now, the only concern I have is that Part one not be a huge exposition fest via for Batman. Rather, there needs to be strong character interactions, plot progression and build up for Part two. If anything Zack Snyder should watch Batman Vs Superman World's Finest, as that special perfectly establishes a similar setup for the two.

Indeed, this paves the way for a bit more individuality, not just for the heroes, but for the villain ensemble as well. Good news!

I think it could end up working in favor for them too. We were all worried that Snyder and co. were fitting way too many characters into one movie, so splitting this story into two features could give them much more time to deliver a great, well-paced narrative.

I beg strongly that a 150min film contain lots of forwarding of the plot. The cinematic versions of TLOTR are a fantastic example of films that are tight and meaningful by themselves and contain a clear arc of tension each, while still one is building up the next.

Speaking about Batman, I think we have yet to see a truly menacing Batman. He´s presented as a guy beating his opponents to pulp with bare hands, yet he moves like a diver who just came out of the water. He should move like Tom Hardy´s Bronson, who by his mere walk exuded danger and menace. But that probably wouldn´t be PG12 enough?
