@BondJasonBond006 I'm glad you liked the Batman aspect of the film, I'm right there with you. Affleck definitely gave us a lot to look forward to in the future.

What are your thoughts on the rest of the cast? Particularly Cavill, Gadot, and Eisenberg?

@BondJamesBond006 I understand your point but I was chosing a character widely criticized on these boards. Heck, imagine Connery acting the exact same he did in DN, but with Christmas Jones instead of Honey Ryder. To comprehend the level of Eisenberg's farcical acting I think you need to take an example in Bond that most would agree with. ;)

Ok, it was just one more cheap attempt by me to bash Silva, I admit it :))

I'm not sure yet, what is the worst thing about BvS, the sad thing is that there is enough to choose from.
Eisenberg's Asperger's performance of Lex actually could be the worst thing. What were they thinking! What!?!

    Is the stuff about
Jimmy Olsen being a CIA operative undercover as a photographer and being killed
    true?
The part about an undercover CIA operative being killed is true but I don't know if it was Olsen. That's a pretty stupid decision if it was. I'm seeing it again tonight so I'll stay for the credits and see if I can find out who the character is.

Cavill: I believe he could be a great Superman if he got decent material to work with, so far it hasn't happened sadly.

    Gadot: While Wonder Woman's appearance
felt more like an in-movie trailer for the upcoming Wonder Woman movie
, I think Gadot will work. I have to see more though. But I'm quite positive about it.

Eisenberg....uh...don't start me on that. His Lex is annoying to a degree that it seriously hurts the movie. I mean what did Snyder tell him. That he should pretend Lex Luthor has Asperger's?

You didn't mention him but I have to add him:
Jeremy Irons as Butler Alfred. Although I didn't see Alfred actually buttle :)) , I liked the take on that character. Irons is great, although I would rank him third behind Caine and Gough.

Amy Adams. She's great in everything, 5 Oscar nominations and not one win, a scandal!
She already was by far the best thing in MoS. In BvS she's as good, but of course
her side plot is stupid, what a waste of potential.

Good Lord, that must be one of the sub-sub-sub plots that I missed between explosions 8-|

    On the 4 main characters:

    1. Cavill is better in BvS than in MoS but there's still something missing.
    2. Batfleck makes a tremendous impression within the first scenes.
    3. Gadot is quite 'sexiful' as Tanaka would say and is very much enjoyable
    4. Eisenberg is hilariously bad. And I'm pretty sure people like @doubleoego will be cringing a lot more than laughing. I don't know if it was Snyder's idea or if Eisenberg was given free room to act, but they royally f*cked up.

For those who hated the SP sequence of
Q's puting the ring on his computer and getting the pictures of Silva, Le Chiffre an Green pop up on his screen

will have a big problem with how
The Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman and co. are revealed when Batman checks some files on his computer and looks up at government classified videos showing these characters that will appear in bigger roles in later DC universe films.

This is the second time really that they've tried to create a DC universe, the first being Green Latern in which they even had Amanda Waller in it who is now been recast and appearing in Suicide Squad. It's a shame because this is DC's first movie to feature their 3 main flagship characters and critically it's bombing.

Yes i know, and it is quite annoying how much weight critics can have nowadays. And i absolutely do not aggree on that ridiculous notion that 'if enouhg critics say something, it must be true' simply because art and even history doesn't work that way. Pop culture might, and capitalism because of it, but not Art.

Yes this Movie might flop, or it could earn enough money, I hope for the later. It could still be hailed as a classic 20 years from now that was waaay ahead of it's time, or could be forgotten in 5 years (rather unlikely by all the press it is getting). You can never know stuff like this until you seen what will happen 20 years from now.

What we can aggree on though is that it's getting strong reactions in both ways, and thats not necessarily a bad thing

I just hope it makes enough money for DC projects to not get cancelled or delayed.

I also don't want to wait 20 years for a film released now to appreciate it. Cot dammit, Snyder!

    Why Batman
    kills
    according to Zack Snyder http://www.gamesradar.com/heres-why-...gn=buffer_tffb

I really dislike this man so damn much!

i am appreciating it right now :)

In all the reviews I've read, which range from great to abysmal, there appears to be one constant: Batfleck rocks the house!

Too bad I have to wait until Tuesday to see it...

I had a feeling this would be the case; it's why his solo movie is one of the few I'm excited for. I'll end up checking this movie out eventually just to see how he does.

    @00Agent

I'm glad you liked it so much :)

It's possible once I've seen JL, I can learn to like it better. For now it's a single movie event that sucked.
But once it is the first part of a series, it could be perceived much better in retrospect.
And no, I don't count MoS as the first in this series, even if it is technically.

true, another possibility might be that every subsequent Batman movie from now on will suck so much harder that you will learn to appreciate BvS much more one day :D

He really is the best Batman ever. saw it earlier this evening, and I think I know why some hate the film.

    1 There is no humour
2 There is a real shocker in there

    I loved it.

That was Jimmy Olsen, all right.

And in the original comics Batman was a killer as was Superman, so get over it.

That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. If EON had said the same thing about the latest Bond movie, a lot of people on these forums would have gone ballistic. That executive is treating everyone like shit.
