Actually I'm looking forward to this more than Solo
To be honest it's the only spin off I would be interested in simply because of Ewan making it more authentic, the story will have to be really good I would say alot of pressure would be rightly put on a Obi Wan film.
I've no doubt Ewan McGreggor can pull the film off, though. It'll be interesting to see how they transform him closer to Alec Guiness.
Pretty much mirrors my issues. Would love to see them branch out with all new material.
To be fair, Obi justifies a film much more than Han Solo or Rogue One. Plus they don't need to recast anyone, as Ewan is perfect age now. I don't disagree that they should branch out, but this is a strange place to draw the line.
I'd say this is the spin-off that makes the most sense/seems the most interesting to me, but at the same time, it's a shame Disney is playing it so safe with these. They have infinite options, I'd just love to see something brand new in the same universe, is all.
Spot on for me and pretty much what I've been saying since TFA.
I've spoiler-tagged the link for those who want to know nothing - the link itself gives away the names.

Also, the working title of the Obi-Wan spinoff is 'Joshua Tree':

At least I'll always have George Lucas's films
But which versions?
That's ridiculous but I get the message. I'll be called a troll next probably.
