I’m uncomfortable regarding Kylo wearing again that mask.. after all the Johnson’s “let the past die” themes. Speaking about his character arc doesn’t make sense at all.

If it's a retail poster it's just intended to sell toys, unless I'm mistaken. The mask will appeal to the kids more. It's likely not an indication of the film itself.

Sure it does. He wanted to start something new with Rey, but she rejected him. Now he's retreated back into his comfort zone. He destroyed the mask out of anger after Snoke humiliated him. Now that he's gone, Kylo can go back to doing whatever he wants.

Sh__ you mean this time it´s personal :-))?

Yep Kylo Ren is actually family of a certain character called Blofeld which EON will then expand on their next 007 outing the Attack of the Clowns.
It will show that Craig can even change quicker in a clownsuit than Roger because he can act better.

I’m waiting to see how the movie will handle this topic. But Kylo goin back to his “comfort zone” is just nonsense. Do you really think Kylo wanted to establish a New Order only with Rey by his side? No you can’t. Wasn’t established in the movie. It’s just an excuse trying to justify Kylo’s mask back after an entire 152 minutes movie shaped around the quest to find each one’s path and establish a personal identity letting the past behind. Don’t forget that the same journey deals with Rey’s arc. No. For me seems just an excuse to sell more toys, for now.

I’m surprised they didn’t give him a whole new helmet, just to sell toys :))

If you look closely, it’s different. He pieced it back together with some red bonding material that runs all over it.

I haven't followed the movie's production at all as I wanted to stay spoiler free, so I may be wrong about this, but regarding the mask I think Abrams said
that Kylo Ren will indeed wearing it. That much I read on The Force Boards. Honestly I agree with you and hope he won't wear it.

Makes sense to me. The personal quest you speak of ended badly for him when Rey rejected him. Also, this isn't just about selling toys. JJ now gets to finish the story that he started, so of course it will be closer to his original vision. He is well aware of the fan backlash to TLJ so expect this film to be a bit of a course correction. I believe we are in for another TFA type adventure, for better or worse.

Just finished my newest marathon of the episodes. I don't think my rankings really changed, but I'll re-post with some thoughts/scores:

    1. Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (10/10)
The one that has it all - one of film history's greatest plot twists, the introduction of Yoda and the Emperor, awesome locations, the battle of Hoth, the lightsaber duel at Bespin, and easily the best characters and character development in the series. It's just perfect. Rewatching this film every time is an absolute delight! It won't be topped.

    2. Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (9.5/10)
I won't make friends placing VI so high (especially above IV), but it is what it is. I love VI - it's an awesome conclusion to the original trilogy, and offers satisfying arc closure for every main character. I'm thoroughly entertained from start to finish, and the redemption of Anakin is handled wonderfully. The Ewoks don't bother me. Awesome film! IMO, underappreciated among fans.

    3. Episode IV - A New Hope (9.5/10)
Another amazing one! Yes, I love all the original films, and though I placed IV last of them, it is the most important one for beginning it all and getting things started off on the right foot. I find the Luke, Leia, Han, and Vader arcs to be more fleshed out and intriguing in V and VI, but they all are still wonderfully introduced here. The film is a classic for a reason - one need only watch to find out why.

    4. Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (8.5/10)
No prequel or sequel trilogy film is in the same ballpark as any of the original films, but I do really enjoy III a lot. Despite the cheesy acting bits and sometimes clunky script-writing, III gets most things right, dishing out the most action of any entry and finally bringing to the screen what everyone wanted to see - Anakin's fall to the Dark Side, and the bridge between the prequels and originals. It does suffer from a couple issues that I and II had, but collectively in style it feels way more like a Star Wars film and by light years is superior.

    5. Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (7.3/10)
Okay, this is where I may lose my credibility (if putting VI above IV didn't do that already). VIII seems to be the most hated Star Wars film at this point, and while I admit it is flawed, I applaud it for taking some risks and, for my own self, holding my interest a little better than VII. I'll gladly concede Rose is a useless character (and hopefully she is cut out of IX early), and Snoke proves to be pretty worthless in the end, but there are things I enjoy. Luke's character gets a lot of hate, but given the story I think the changes make sense and give him an interesting new internal conflict (grappling with his beliefs of the Jedi - what they and him stood for). The action and look of the film are terrific. It has higher highs and lower lows than VII I think, but overall I just find it a more original and intriguing experience despite the problems it has.

    6. Episode VII - The Force Awakens (7/10)
VII is good, but it is just about the safest movie out there. It sometimes feels a little too much like a rehash of IV to me, and none of the villains particularly interested me (this issue carries over into VIII). That being said, I enjoyed most of the new characters a lot - particularly Finn and Rey, and the cast and action are on-point. I like it, but IMO it's a bit overhyped. Not that much new brought to the table beyond some good characters. But it does gets the job done at being a decent Star Wars flick.

    7. Episode II - Attack of the Clones (5.5/10)
II is... well, not very good. The good? Obi-Wan, Jango Fett, Count Dooku, and the lightsaber fight at the end. Sadly there are a lot of things that drag the overall experience down though. Hayden Christensen's performance in II could be the weakest aspect of any of the 8 films. It's pretty terrible. The romance scenes are amazingly cringe-worthy. The CGI is bad, the writing's bad, and the first two thirds are mostly dull. I gave it an edge over I just because I think the story's a tad better, and Christopher Lee's Count Dooku is awesome.

    8. Episode I - The Phantom Menace (5.2/10)
I'm picking I as my least favorite of the bunch, though it's nearly on the same level as II. Jar Jar and kid Anakin are annoying, the CGI is awful, the writing is a miss, and the story's just not very interesting. Of course, the lightsaber fight at the end is terrific, but getting up to that climax can really be a drag. There are cool moments sprinkled in like the pod-race, and I really enjoy Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon's characters. It has some cool stuff but collectively quite a weak film.

There you have it. I love V, VI, and IV, really like III, like VIII and VII alright, and don't like most of II and I. I'll be very interested to see how Episode XI turns out.

Shit title and it looks like they'll be retconning some of the few interesting ideas from TLJ. Still, not a bad teaser. Some cool shots.

Also, all the titles are pretty bad. This one is better than some of the rumored ones...

I watched the live thing where they interviewed the cast, and enjoyed it very much. I think the final film will be great. I've loved the last two and although I remember the originals, would prefer to watch the newer ones.

I hope Rey merely adopts the Skywalker name rather than actually BEING a Skywalker by blood. Would be an interesting spin on it.

I'll definately go to watch it and will buy it, though I think third trilogy overall just was not thought out well enough and is not a coehesive enough ark upto now.

    J. J. is pulling a fast one again using the nostalgia card in the new trailer which will work to a degree.

The title is OK I guess. it would appear to bookend the Skywalker saga, even though Skywalker had risen in previous films.

The visuals look good, just like all the Disney SW films, but will there be any substance? Not digging the title and I'm not crazy about the ending, but I'm hoping it turns out to be good. I expect some retconning of TLJ. Nothing too radical though. Not only do they have to wrap up this trilogy but the entire saga as well. Expectations are low.

Not a codename, no. Adopting a name isn't the same as it being a codename.
Rey doesn't actually have a name, at the moment. So it would, essentially, be her real name.
