Again I have to ask, what is a force ghost?

These guys are dead, but with the Force they can still come and speak to you

So they are people disattached from the dense body and living mainly in the astral world. A ghost, then. I never see the expression "force ghost" outside of SW discussions, so that is why I wonder.

    Totally understandable!
Yeah they aren't 'boo ghosts' so much as 'I'm still here' ghosts.

I can’t believe they replaced the original Anakyn. Makes me ill. The audience was overjoyed when the dead Vader (though only seeing him without the mask for a couple of minutes) reappeared smiling and whole at the end. Did anyone ever care about that idiot from the prequels?

I’ll only purchase the original three again if they are the untampered with cuts. Restoration is fine. No “NEW HOPE” nonsense, no added scenes and backgrounds, no retrofitting.

Totally agree. It is like painting a mustache on Mona Lisa.

They did have some terrible additions, especially all the CGI nonsense including Jedi Rocks. Honestly just ridiculous that the original versions are unavailable on the market. Here’s hoping someday they will be released.

Plus it was Ray Milland they axed. Bit of an insult.

As for the title A NEW HOPE, I remember some storyboard artwork from the time with that title attached to it.

It was Sebastian Shaw who played Anakin in ROTJ.

Agreed. As for Anakin being in ROTJ and all the other changes Lucas made, I'm actually fine with them.

Not to Mention it makes no sense that Annakin´s force ghost is Young, while all the others are at the age of their Departure.

Even Anakin (Christensen as Young Anakin. I thought this was a mod edit idea.

The Music to that teaser is Epic. Does anyone know who did it?

I'm not 100% sure. The main trailer for The Force Awakens was composed by Confidential Music and Ursine Vulpine, while Twelve Titans Music orchestrated music for The Last Jedi trailer.

They probably went back to one of them.

It's a balls-out version of Leia's Theme, so Williams wrote it, but if that's his arrangement I don't know.

I wonder how this will end, you know?
I mean..... this is the last one, at least as far as ‘episodes’ go

My guess would be that there will be a medal ceremony and a party across the galaxy similar to ROTJ, as it is the last of 9 films I suspect there will be cameos of characters from across the 9 Episodes.

Despite all that was bad about The Last Jedi, I thought the final shot would have been right at home in Episode IX. You know what I mean?

I agree, I feel like we got a lot of closure in that movie. It was a perfect send off.

@Master_Dahark One of the problems with TLJ is it does not feel like a middle part of a trilogy, I am not a fan of the last scene though I get what you mean, that shot is very much a new character looking to the stars a metaphor for new story's and new adventures etc.

Upon further reflection, I could be okay with a Palpatine cameo (if done right), but if it turns out that his force ghost was behind it all the whole time (like Blofeld in SP) then I will be disgusted.

All ghosts are force ghosts. What is it with this expression?

I noticed a pattern with the titles.

A NEW HOPE, THE PHANTOM MENACE, THE FORCE AWAKENS all imply something stirring, a beginning, good or bad.

THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, ATTACK OF THE CLONES, THE LAST JEDI all imply something ominous, a challenge of sorts.

RETURN OF THE JEDI, REVENGE OF THE SITH, THE RISE OF SKYWALKER all imply some triumph or closure, good or bad.

It’s probably not very likely, but I’d love to have Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan force ghost cameos. Probably my favorite two Jedi.
