Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker - meet the
    Sith trooper
    from Episode 9

Initially I thought this was a joke, though the fact these exist could suggest a major thing in episode IX...
That the Emperor could possibly be alive and not a Force Ghost

Gotta love the Emperor, could not imagine any other actor playing that part.

Ian Mcdiarmid is brilliant, if it were not for the Emperor inclusion in Episode IX my interest would be low. I hope Ian Mcdiarmid gets alot of screen time

I also hope Luke gets more screentime. Mark Hamill has been seriously ripped off on this trilogy.

Agree hopefully as a Force Ghost Luke will be closer to his ROTJ character

I wouldnt really say it's a trilogy. It's three movies. But I would say Mark got ripped off. Hornswaggled!

    That again.

When will people get it in their primitive skulls that reshoots do not necessarily indicate that a film is going to suck?! Yes, we've seen cases before of failed productions and terrible movies because of or despite a whole batch of reshoots. But not every film receiving after-the-facts reshoots ends up as a tragedy.

Everyone who makes art or constructs something has the right to be dissatisfied with the end result and go back to alter things before we get to see it. The real question, however, is who ordered the reshoots and why. If the 'suits' order the reshoots because of purely commercial interests, it usually indicates that we should get worried. If, however, something just doesn't feel right, if an ending doesn't work, ..., reshoots can be very acceptable and even needed.

I wish the DAF production had had the time and money to opt for some reshoots on the oil rig. Let's face it, the film's climax suffered from accidents and weak scripting problems. Reshoots could have done a lot of good.

Rogue One turned out great despite the reshoots, though I am curious what the original cut was like prior to changes. Solo was an easy watch though not particularly memorable.

As long as Palpatine and Luke get more screen time I am not bothered about reshoots.

I'm watching the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special again. I think I need drugs to get the proper experience. So far, I've been enjoying incomprehensible Wookie speak and some trippy holographic dancing. Mark Hamill has just entered the picture with far too much make-up on his face. :D

If I recall the make up on Hamill was to disguise his recent accident.

I am still awaiting the big screen debut of Lumpy ;))

Those wookies were too much for me. I think Chewie has a mentally challenged kid and his dad is horny as hell. "Life Day" on Kashyyk sounds a lot like a day for substance abuse. :D

There are some crazy theories for Episode IX floating around
    Rey is Anakins mother
:-O that would probably happen if Lucas was still making the films :))

I doubt Lucas would be that stupid. Especially because Lucas knew that these movies were fantasy stories rather than sci-fi.

Aren't Disney trying to kill all the old IP characters so they don't have to pay Lucas as he still owns those characters and their IP?

Nope, Disney owns Star Wars 100% and owes Lucas nothing.

Nah, just because there's 135 minutes of music, doesn't mean it's a 135 minute film. Unless it's an opera!
