Edit: Beat me to it.
EDIT: Posted too late :P
I blame tired eyes when I swapped things around but sure, will make a less surreal version later!
Scratch that other one but created a weird photo with SC tied to the chair!!..
Or so I've heard...
I just can't find a decent enough quality image of that great end shot of UA and it's driving me mad as I prefer it over the usual well used bikini shots. Nearest is this:
For example, you could have a big photo of DC for SF, and add the torture scene, the explosion of SF, and a big shot of the PTS train, and then in another poster, add the Shanghai fight, Bond meeting Severine, and Bond running through the tube station, and just sprinkle characters from the film about.
I'm aiming to create a set (which could be considered a bit formulaic after a while I suppose) using a similar theme to the ones I've been doing where I learn to work the various layouts so when I feel like going off onto a different tangent / concept I should really have gotten a feel for the right pictures and how much emphasis different elements get.
Today I set the first 8 film versions I particularly like out onto a black background and the colours zinged out and really made an impact - against the white of the forum page here sometimes the black can look quite strong and sombre but I try to use it sparingly to punch out the stronger brighter colours.
I realise these are all quite busy but that is in fact the intention - making posters more like DC in Skyfall and QOS effectively just has an 'atmosphere' or grunge added to one shot. They have impact but feel a bit too pared back for a Bond poster. It's actually a reason why I'm leaving DC films to last. The best current / recent poster I love is the CR with the Casino within the shadow silhouette of Vesper - I realise now where I probably got the subliminal influence from with my latest LTK poster! I actually saw the TD shot first and wanted to try and retain that stark B&W contrast so used the black as the working canvas area.
This certainly beats the hell out of photo retouching and cutting out welders and lighting towers in the day job - especially where they all have metres of curly cabling...
Edit> actually when I revisit this now I'm quite pleased with the results of colorising the B&W of SC - not something I've ever tried doing before. May open up possibilities of better images I can get online that only ever get shown B&W.
Have you ever considered doing posters with different Bonds on them, like Dalton in GoldenEye or Connery in On Her Majesty's Secret Service or Brosnan in Casino Royale?
I've set myself the task to try and get a set of as per original versions done before trying alternative ideas! I'm on a mission...
EON really need to hire you :-)
A busier but hopefully more of a 'big' epic feeling version:
