I read the first two novels, but that was in my give-me-blood-and-violence teenage days, so I can´t really judge them according to their literary value ;-). I think the second one was as good as the first one.

Why a TV series. Syvester Stallon will be getting old. I was told it should only him to play role no new Rambo. His other Franchise Rocky is going to be revived with spin off he going to find a successor to carry on why he left off. How about a Dirty Harry TV series? Less Clint Eastwood to do that. There he meet another cop called Harry to carry on where left off.

It's been officially announced now that Stallone won't be playing Rambo.

I hope this series follows the path of the Beverly Hills Cop show: it fails and we get another film.

I hope it fails and the chance to get a movie is scuppered, Stallone is far too old to be playing Rambo unless we are talking reboot.

It would have been interesting to get Eastwood do an Unforgiven with Dirty Harry but it didn't happen and we had to settle for the woeful Dead Pool as it's swan song, lets just accept Part 4 was the end can we, more junk for Hollywood to make.

I see people moaning about how bad Hollywood's output is and it's all about blockbusters and franchises, it's no wonder they think that is what people want when we are continuing to flog a dead horse like Rambo still.

If this show ever happens, I know I'll never be able to stop watching it, because as all Rambo fans know, YOU JUST DON'T TURN IT OFF!
