Unfortunately, member #5000 is a spambot.. So I don't think we'll need to credit him/her/it here ;)

Instead, well done to all of us for making this wonderful community grow and prosper!

    Congratulations to MI6 Community on reaching 5000 members*. It may be a lot less than many of the other Bond forums, but we have instead vastly superior posting members here and that's what sets us apart as a James Bond online community. Here's to the next 5000!

    *I myself joined as @Dragonpol on 11 December 2012 as MI6 Community Member No. 4076 - meaning nearly another 1000 members have joined since that date. That in itself is very impressive! I was never a member of the old KTBEU forum, though. I was a member of CBn Forums at that time instead. Better late than never, I suppose.

    Well said @Dragonpol. I'll take quality over quantity any day. This forum attracted me more than any other because of the intelligence and eloquence of the posters here. I'm glad that I joined and would like to thank everyone here for making this such a special place.

    Could not agree more! If given the opportunity? I pop in each day to the forum and get involved with quite a few of the many differing topics on here.

    Congratulations to the MI6 community on reaching the big 5000, I've occasionally dipped into other James Bond forums, but I think it's very true what's been said about the superior posting members, generally people here seem welcoming, friendly, humorous, helpful, knowledgeable and generally tolerant. Well done to each and everyone of us for making this such a popular site to belong to. B-)

    These milestones are being reached at a quicker pace all the time. That is great to see.

    5,000 members - 40 or 50 active or regular participants

    At least let's put things into some clearer perspective. And however I feel personally, it's a fine achievement for this forum and Yes it's a shame the 5,000th entrant had to be a spam type but it's still a decent number

    Unfortunately, it appears there will be 4,999 in a short time as I really feel I have come to a decision, for reasons I wish not to elaborate on. I try to adhere to site rules so going to bite my damn tongue this time, but I feel I have reached my limit on one or two issues as of now

    We might not have all 5,000 posting, but at least this forum can still attract members and not go stagnant, even in this quiet period between films.

    From what @PropertyOfALady has told me, Brady's fine but his hiatus seems rather permanent these days, unless he opts to return once NTTD releases. Just tried to contact him over the PS4 yesterday.
