    I hate when that happens.

Same here. Right now it’s really noticeable for FYEO on my list too. But not impossible...

You can both move GE down 10 places or so, then there is plenty of room.

SP is sort of like a prototypical Bond film tailored for the Craig era. In some ways it’s neat, but can often feel a bit awkward.

That's what I like about it. It compines both the current era and the more typical style of a traditional Bond film. It works for me. Skyfall was just dreary for me. So I take what I get.

    Brilliant top three, @Birdleson!

Fine rankings, would have appreciated a bit more Dalton and TWINE love though ;)

Alright, I just finished updating the rankings. It was quite a bit of work as I have so many so statistics and I have to make sure each time that I enter a ranking from a user who I do not have one from yet, that the formulas are also taking their ranking in account. With users who I already have a ranking from, I simply update their ranking with the most recent data which they have entered. I now have one hundred and thirty-seven rankings in the Excel Sheet and a raft of statistics on the data set.

The cumulative ranking now looks like this:

    1.) Casino Royale (4.6058)
    2.) On Her Majesty's Secret Service (5.0588)
3.) From Russia With Love (5.5036)
    4.) Goldfinger (7.5182)
    5.) The Living Daylights (8.4161)
    6.) Dr. No (9.2336)
    7.) Skyfall (9.3358)
8.) The Spy Who Loved Me (9.5839)
    9.) Goldeneye (9.6642)
    10.) Thunderball (10.5620)
    11.) Licence to Kill (11.0657)
12.) For Your Eyes Only (12.1606)
13.) Live and Let Die (13.4161)
    14.) Spectre (13.5620)
    15.) Octopussy (14.2847)
16.) You Only Live Twice (14.3650)
    17.) Quantum Of Solace (15.3869)
    18.) Tomorrow Never Dies (16.5036)
19.) The Man with the Golden Gun (17.3212)
    20.) Moonraker (17.4161)
    21.) Diamonds Are Forever (17.4162)
22.) The World Is Not Enough (17.6350)
    23.) A View To A Kill (18.6642)
    24.) Ice Palace (21.2774)

The top 13 is the same as mine, although in a different order.

Watching Spectre, (which I have admittedly only seen once) I found myself a bit puzzled as to where all of the money went. It didn't feel to me like a film with anywhere near the budget that it actually had.

One of my issues with SP, as well. Don't know if it's the sets, locations, cinematography or other elements, but I don't feel they made the most of it.
I quite agree. None of the locations feel real, even though some of them may have been real. They have the distinct veneer and stench of CGI enhancement, the likes of which we normally see in Marvel outings. I can more readily forgive it there because those films are supposed to be set in fantastical environments. It's less palatable for me in a Bond film, mainly because this franchise has set the standard in transporting us to 'actual' foreign lands and immersing us completely in them for multi-decades.

    Spot on!

I've been going through my ranking history, and there's only been 5 films that have always been in the top 10:
    (A) Goldeneye. My childhood Bond film, and probably my first
    (B) From Russia with Love.
    (C) Casino Royale. Lucky I didn't do a ranking right after I watched it...
    (D) Octopussy. What can I say. I love this film
    (E) For Your Eyes Only. An above average entry which I really like and is consistently in the bottom area of the top 10.

Two notable films miss out: The Living Daylights (my no. 1) and OHMSS (4). That was due to a lower ranking before I truly got into the series

If I really had to nitpick, I can think of two things: (1) Bond still has his acid pen after being captured by Gobinda. (2) Pacing is off at about the 1/3 point around when Bond arrives in India

Really solid ranking there @ToTheRight, although I’d move LTK and GE up a little bit.
Probably will update my ranking again soon as well. It’s really funny how all these films can jump around through my rankings as if I cannot make up my mind. Permanently.
On the other hand my very favourites, the top 5, haven’t changed in a long time and I can safely say they will stay on top next time too:

    - From Russia with Love
    - On Her Majesty’s Secret Service
    - The Living Daylights
    - Licence to Kill
    - GoldenEye

As predicted the top 5 comes without changes and they remain my absolute favourites. The bottom 5 also stays the same.
In between there are a few changes as one can expect. We see TMWTGG re-entering the top 10 and TWINE falling just outside of it. TSWLM makes a considerable jump and becomes my preferred Moore entry.
