I never understood that shot of him shaking his booty. Was that meant to be funny? Very odd. To this day I'm still not sure how I feel about the PTS of SPECTRE.
I like Bond walking across the rooftops and where he falls onto the old sofa,with a wryy smile.
But I find the helicopter fight boring as hell.
Something about the helicopter bit looks too digital CGI, even it it was shot for real. Maybe it's the yellow filter, but that whole sections looks green screen to me. I feel more riveted by the helicopter PTS in FOR YOUR EYES ONLY.
I love the FYEO PTS ,no music or anything,until Bond pulls out the leads,and excellent stuntwork - the REAL DEAL.
What's this booty talk about? Do you mean the bit when he was walking on the rooftops? That was a rather strange and insincere walk imho. Out of character for his Bond. It took me out of the PTS, although I realize some members here seem to like it and think it was cool.
Yep,the rooftop scene as he is heading to his shooting position,i do like that part of it,very quiet,stealthy and cat-like.
That's what made me turn SP off last night and dropped It to bottom of my rankings.
So arrogant and cocky.
Could you imagine any of the other 5 Bonds doing that ? I cant.
Roger was so charming, he might have pulled that off in an amusing way. The way it's done in SP I can't tell if it was intended to evoke a laugh or what was the point of that gesture. Very weird.
To me it looks like an arrogant ad-lib by Craig and they left it in.

I always assumed that it was his skeleton costume, giving his walk the exaggerated gait.
It looked very exaggerated on the big screen, not so much on a smaller.

I've never noticed the 'shaking booty' moment in a way that would irk me to the extent of some on here.
I must be one of the few people who love the helicopter fight. It's really well edited and the action is top notch.
SP's PTS is the best thing in the film and is up there with the best PTS's.
The PTS and the train fight are two things that would stop me putting SP in last place on a Bond list.
Totally agree! Apart from the collapsing building, it's a cracking pts! Though i was always a fan of FYEO one, SP is just as good if not better!
And I also concur that it's Bond skeleton suit that gives that exaggerated move.
I always thought the train fight was up there with the FRWL one. (it's just in the wrong place...It should have been in the final reel!)

Yeah, @Mathis1 there is a lot of nitpicking on here with things that really are trivial.
The PTS and the train fight are really well edited and choreographed.
To be honest when the camera is following Bond and his companion in the SP PTS i'm usually looking at his companions rear....!
I think it peaks just before the couch incident. Pretty much after Newman's Los Muertos Vivos Estan ends.
I'm with you on this one, @bondjames. Also; although the opening tracking shot is interesting from a technical point of view, does it really add anything to the sequence? A well edited sequence with a few cuts wouldn't have made it any worse.
The best thing about the PTS imho is Sigman. She completely nails the entire sequence. I can't take my eyes off her whenever I watch the film. Shame she isn't in more of it.

It may well climb again but it has to get past FYEO (seriously needs a watch,havent seen it for years,so may rise up the table or drop),MR and YOLT .
Love at least two of them but recent watches of YOLT have not been good for me. Really struggled to enjoy any of it! MR is a guilty pleasure. FYEO really good debut for Glen ( but I would have loved to see Dalton in it!!)
