I suppose it's Lazenby that drags it down for me really, and I don't dislike any Bond film, but it's never really clicked with me. Might go up on my next re-watch (hope so, I might even be considered remotely normal then)
QoS was my first Bond film but I genuinely think it's a riveting, fast-paced revenge film that I feel is a good follow-up to CR. I think the PTS is probably the best sequence in the film but I love the climax at the eco-hotel and Dominic Greene as his own, unique villain who feels uncomfortable in his own part and for me - it works. I also think Olga Kurylenko is a great Bond girl (forget Strawberry Fields). I think had it not been released during a writers' strike and it had more dialogue, it would be well-received by critics and fans alike.
tbh I think it makes a bit of change to see it lower down the list. at least in recent times. might I suggest watching it at Christmas if you haven't done already.
I'm personally loving the variety in a lot of these lists.

I've never seen it at Christmas so I'll give that a go this year, thanks!
Part of me wishes I could swap at least one of these out for a more underrated film, but they really are that good in my eyes and deserve their reputation. Maybe in my next Bondathon something will take one of their spots.
My small nitpicks are that I think they kill off Grant and Le Chiffre a little too early. I would have liked to have seen them killed with 10-15 minutes left.
Very bold indeed 😲

CR67 and NSNA are not included in the game, I'd rank them both between YOLT and DAF.
Google "sorta app Bond" and you'll find it.
I answered these very quickly. Some benefitted from me not having seen them in awhile. SF suffered quite a bit because my estimation of it dipped ever-so-slightly this last viewing. Overall I have no idea how much this will approximate my list I'll publish after my re-viewing.
edit: Re-taking the test and not worrying at all about my assessment of quality or what my actual "favorites" are and just going purely from the gut of what I'd like to watch *right now* as the prompt says. This should be whacky as Hell.
edit2: lol wow https://sorta.app/q/1029/drqjbamouckghenlptvwisfx
this is...uhh..not representative of my overall list. How in the world did TND get so high, I only voted for it once.

Very interesting list. I have a feeling Quantum is going to jump up my list even more on my next Bondathon.

I had a look at the average rating I give to the +/- 1600 films I have seen. My average film rating average is 5.7 out of 10.
Even my least liked Bond film scores higher than that with a 6 out of 10. I suppose I'm a lot more forgiving towards Bond films than towards most other films.
Nice to see someone else who has Live and Let Die and You Only Live Twice low!
I'm the same way with my film ratings. When I rate Bond films, I noticed that I was giving my least favorites 2 stars out of 5. Then I realized I was ranking them the same way I do any other film and quickly changed it. Now my least favorite Bond film is still a 3 after making some adjustments. Even those are still enjoyable.
I suppose that's what fans do, close our eyes (and ears) for the occasional slide whistle or Tarzan yell ;)
As for LALD, my latest viewing of LALD wasn't great, and even though it has some good moments, as all Bond films have, in the end I just don't really like the 'atmopshere'.
That's a fully subjective sentiment I know. But no Cold War espionage, no colourful locations, no impressive set designs and a somewhat pale colour palette eventually leave this one at the bottom for me.
