Wow! This is sounding promising!
So true. Spectre was quite a hit in those initial days.
I think it was seventh or eighth place for me after that first viewing. Now? Dead last. I’ll probably wait until it’s out on 4K and I’ve seen it several times before I’m comfortable with definitively ranking it.
What was in 24th at first for you? I can’t remember. DAF? DAD?
Apart from bad CGI and child-ish lines, it's alright. And Tamahori is right, movies post-2002 are full of CGI so you could say he was ahead of the times (the free-fall in QOS is on par with the worst of DAD CGI) - the problem with DAD is the CGI tech wasn't as advanced back then
I've said for a while now that if NTTD can be my second favorite Craig film and a mainstay in my top 10, I'll be more than happy.

MOD EDIT: You've clearly noted that discussion was in the spoilers thread - why bring it to a thread that has nothing to do with it, possibly ruining such things for those who have yet to see it? Please don't do that again and be sure to respect your fellow fans.
Yeah, mate, ON THE SPOILERS ALLOWED THREAD. Why would you do that to people here? I've seen the movie so it doesn't ruin it for me but come on. Please at least add a spoiler tag.
No worries, you were only tagged because I was quoting a post that quoted yours. It wasn't directed at you at all.
Your comment wasn't the problem.
Are people seriously so goddamned petty and selfish that they aren't contented enough with having deliberately spoiled the film for themselves, aren't contented enough with jumping ship on the franchise after doing so...they're going to ruin it for other fans deliberately out of spite towards EON?
I was so excited to be back on here, to be the first person on the forum to be able to say I saw NTTD and mark it in the Movie Meter. Now I almost wish I hadn't done that.
Don't beat yourself up over it, it's not your fault. Some people just don't have common courtesy or respect with these sorts of things whatsoever.
Oh, okay. I was rather riled up in the other thread last night, and may have crossed some lines anyway, which wasn't my intention. If I did, I apologize.
I hadn't noticed. I personally don't even mind if people are outright discussing spoilers, so long as it's in the appropriate threads. You did nothing wrong here so no need to worry. It's people bringing spoiler-y conversations into totally unrelated threads, sans tags, which will absolutely spoil twists and the ending for others who have yet to see it, such as myself, that pisses me off.
I remember someone casually mentioning M's death in SF and ruining it for me just a few weeks before release - no spoiler tag used, wasn't even in an appropriate thread, all because they figured "well, if I knew about it, everyone else must too." It's a bad attitude to have.
I had Han Solo's death ruined for me three days before the TFA premiere. I never spoke to that person after.
I'm pretty sure I found out about M's death in SF the same way. Same with the Moneypenny reveal.
Thankfully, the MP thing seemed to be revealed for me upon her casting, as it seemed everyone was confirming (or rumoring, rather) that that's who she'd be playing. M's death was something I would've loved not knowing about going in, though.
Yeah, TBH, some of the spoiler comments and the casualness of those comments had given me serious second thoughts on seeing the film. It had really put me in a negative funk, when otherwise I was enjoying the reactions. The film comes out here next week, so I'll have a chance to see for myself.
