    I'm sure it skyrocket the next time I watch it. It had to somewhere, though.

    Update: Sir Christopher Lee's mere presence in the film made the choice for me and now it's gone up several notches. LOL

    I loved it so much in the theater when I was a kid, I don't think it will ever lose that impression in me.

    I first saw it around 1986 when my folks rented it on VHS. It was only one I hadn't seen up to that point, and I was already a massive Christopher Lee fan. Roger Moore seemed tougher, and I loved JW Pepper.
    Damn. I may have to watch that one again. Now I'm in the mood for it.

    I don’t think so. It tanks so poorly for me once they land in Afghanistan. Whereas LTK’s questionable moments are scattered throughout. They don’t last very long.

    YOLT, SF and GE have been rotating positions in those 10 - 12 spots for several years now. So I tend to label anything in my Top 12 as being in my Top 10. They are clumped too closely to comfortably separate.

    Some movement with this latest round of watching them all in 4K. Both TMWTGG and TND moved up two spots, and that feels about right. For the last few years I have been ranking DAD above TND, because, as horribly as it goes wrong, several of the parts that I admire I consider to be among some of the best in the series (Bond facing execution, the sword fight). This time I enjoyed the first half of TND, as per usual, and I didn't mind the second half as much as I normally do. It occurred to me that TND is only guilty of playing it safe when it could have upped the ante. Disappointing, but the movie never really becomes outright insulting as DAD does. As for NTTD, it continues to slip as it recedes into the past. Despite the many wonderful moments, the decisions made and the overtly conscious attempts at importance and gravity leave a bad taste.

    Yes, they have been climbing as time goes on! And I know DAF should be a bit lower, but I have such a sentimental attachment to that one because A) it was my first Bond ever (& in the theatre no less), and B) red Mustang Mach 1.
