I'm aiming to be the first MI6C member to have SPECTRE in a list.

Yeah, you bloody Brits always get a new Bond film first :P.

That's because it's our series. Rule Britainna. Ha ha.

The Spy Who Loved Me will always be first for me and Die Another Day last. The order of the rest continually shifts (although I almost always have Diamonds Are Forever as second-last).

Hmmm. I see SP being rated (or is that hated?) as much as I rate SF. ;)

Guess that's why everyone likes to drive a different car, wear varied styles of shoes, sweaters and ties or go on totally different holidays. We all see things really differently.

I for one would easily place SP higher than SF on some of the recent lists here but I really don't see the point in the whole "my actor/film/bond girl" is better than yours etc etc ;) and bothering with rankings. Why go to the bother?

Tomorrow Never Dies Dutch release date whas 1 day earlier then in UK. 18 December, there where also limited tickets for 14th and i won 2x2 of those. Because Titanic be 1998 movie in The Netherlands, Bond delieverd more money in my country then that movie ;)

Predict where i at Spectre. That new created Bond background can be problem. So let i say 17/24.. Where Skyfall start or mabey 14/24 like QOS.

True :). Exactly why we love Bond as well.

We want our Bond as British as British can be.. just be nice and share.

Btw I don't think there is an American alive that ever wanted Burt Reynolds as Bond ..or any American as Bond for that matter. *gasp*.

Wonderful. This movie I have been hungry for for a year, that I'm seeing in six days, has been now spoiled. I don't know why this couldn't have been indicated beforehand. Do not click the link if you haven't seen SPECTRE.

No that's okay, damage is done... I'll just watch this movie free of suspense and wait three more years for a Bond movie that doesn't get ruined for me.

Ok, so here is my first ranking on this forum. I’ve been undertaking a Bondathon in the run up to, and including, Spectre and have ranked each movie, not on what I think was the best, but on how much I have enjoyed each entry in the series; after all, they’re made for us fans to enjoy as much as possible. I have to say, I’m pretty surprised at how this ranking has turned out; looks slightly controversial.

Based on this ranking, my next Bondathon will be viewed in this order and I’ll be doing the same with any future ones. I can see DAD being the last one to view each time if I’m honest.

Anyway, Sir Rog comes out on top with Craig having 3 in the Top 10.

    1. TSWLM
    2. FRWL
    3. OHMSS
    4. CR
    5. DN

    8. OP
    9. LTK
    10. SF
    11. GE
    12. LALD

I´ve seen Spectre twice so it´s time put my list out (though after a couple of more Spectre viewings its position may change, mainly ahead of Skyfall). Here we go!

    1. ON HER MAJESTY´S SECRET SERVICE
    2. FOR YOUR EYES ONLY
    3. CASINO ROYALE
    4. THUNDERBALL
    5. FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE
    6. SKYFALL
    7. SPECTRE
    8. THE SPY WHO LOVED ME
    9. GOLDFINGER
    10. DR NO
    11. LIVE AND LET DIE
    12. THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS
    13. QUANTUM OF SOLACE
    14. LICENCE TO KILL
    15. YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE
    16. GOLDENEYE
    17. OCTOPUSSY
    18. THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN
    19. THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH
    20. DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER
    21. A VIEW TO A KILL
    22. MOONRAKER
    23. TOMORROW NEVER DIES
    24. DIE ANOTHER DAY

I always have this inner battle between OHMSS and FYEO, this time OHMSS won. Mainly because its classic status, classic Bondian feel and its loyalty to the original story. And despite the wooden man playing Bond! And that Sir Hilary Bray-overdubbing! Well, you know what, there´s Bibi in FYEO...

I don't dislike Brosnan. His films were the worst of the series for me. Given better scripts, he would have been better. GE (despite the score) and the first hour of TND prove this.

Agreed. His films are terrible. I don't even consider them canon. And I don't dislike Brosnan either, though I think he's better suited to a lighter, Cary Grant type role.

Your list is good. It helps me gauge my enthusiasm for SP... given reviews and opinions, it's been hard to know what to make of the movie...
