Perhaps I should clarify, as it seems to have alluded the entire forum. The winking fish is corny as the topper to Bonds revenge mission. If a shooting star crossed the sky, would that be norml too. Cause that happens in real life, you know.
:))
Yeah me too.
Best Bond film over two hours ever created- Casino Royale
Worst Bond film ever created- Moonraker
Most overrated Bond film ever created- The Living Daylights (on here, anyway)
Most underrated Bond film ever created- Tomorrow Never Dies (again, on here)
Most uneven Bond film ever created- Diamonds are Forever
Most funny Bond film ever created- I'll be honest, I don't know.
Least funny Bond film ever created- Quantum of Solace
Also, the definitive ranking of Roger Moore's Bonds:
1. The Spy Who Loved Me (7)
2. For Your Eyes Only (10)
3. Octopussy (17)
4. Live and Let Die (19)
5. A View to A Kill (21)
6. The Man with the Golden Gun (23)
7. Moonraker (24)
I didn't assume anything. I didn't even think anything. People are overreacting about it. Claiming the wink somehow completely ruins everything that came before it... Yeah right... It is a non-issue that is on the screen for half a second for God's sake!
It gets more attention than the far more egregious bar fight!
Worst - Diamonds Are Forever
Most overrated - On Her Majesty's Secret Service or Thunderball
Most underrated - Octopussy or The Living Daylights
Most uneven (quality-wise) - Spectre
Most uneven (pacing-wise) - On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Most funny - Octopussy
Least funny - Quantum of Solace (difficult to argue anything else)
Best - Casino Royale, followed shortly by From Russia With Love.
Worst - Die Another Day
Most overrated - Here, probably On Her Majesty's Secret Service or The Living Daylights, followed closely by Live And Let Die.
Most underrated - I'd say Octopussy but here that doesn't seem to be the case. Probably Tomorrow Never Dies, which warrants a bit more love.

Most uneven Bond film (tonally) - Octopussy
Most uneven Bond film (acting-wise) - Licence to Kill

Edit: Decided to rank TLD higher than QOS. I like both movies, but at the end of the day, QOS has more problems than TLD does.
Wow, TSWLM and QOS aside that is probably the most uncontroversial ranking of the Bond movies I've seen on this forum! Very good.

My list is probably quite unorthodox, but that'd be because I haven't seen OHMSS, DN, QoS or TWINE more than once, so I might raise them if I saw them again.
An interesting list. Not quite as unorthodox as you may think. Sadly Moore does get a fair bit of criticism around here (not as much as Brosnan though). Your penchant for Moore probably explains your dislike for Dalton as well.
Unfortunately I can only agree with you about a few placements (CR, OHMSS), but my own tastes are divisive. You will assuredly find many like-minded people here.
And great to see a new face around here too, @stun_harvesting. Warmly welcome.
Very nice to read your insight on the Bond canon. But I am honestly at a loss as to how you might find TWINE 'dreary'. TWINE is a lot of things but I would not put 'dreary' down as one of them - although some of the locations were a bit dull.
Agree completely. I like TWINE a bit more than you do but yes Renard is just so poorly implemented and I don't appreciate the actor's perforance either.
And of course that's what they should be and not some dreary depressing wanna-be melodrama.
Spectre is the most entertaining Bond, I'm so glad they have found back to form.
As you said CR is a masterpiece, but just because they had the right director.
'Daddy preferred you over me. I hate you little brother for stealing my father's love.'
That's not dreary melodrama in the slightest now is it?
And followed the Fleming story to a large degree.
Agreed, of course.
