LOL I keep moving it. Tough to place it, but I think I've settle it alongside TMWTGG. Peter Lorre is pretty classic.
I wonder what a 2 hour live TV performance of Bond could be like today
I agree, GE belongs way up to the heights of FRWL GF TLD OHMSS.

LTK SP and TLD are really bad executed films either in writing and/or production values but yet so many read or perceive so much in those films that just isn't there or there but surrounded by rubbish.
I agree with that.
I think you answered your own question.
Yes. They are also poor quality scripts (with too much action) compared to the better films.
At least the action cut down on the talking. Awful dialogue between Bond and Jinx.
How can you like Ian Fleming and not like Timothy Dalton?
Anyway, TLD and LTK are far better written than TND or DAD. They present more character development, real relationships and are less straightforward (which is a good thing in my mind).
An atmospheric Cold War spy thriller and Bond goes Yojimbo are more my idea of a good film than shoot-m-ups as TND or DAD.

I disagree totally that TLD,SP and LTK are inferior to TND and DAD!
TLD is pure Fleming, and LTK is well constructed Bond thriller, with also elements of Fleming. SP has come in for a lot of criticism, but its streets ahead of DAD and TND which are tedious, empty 2 hours which substitute long boring action scenes and bad puns for good story and strong characterisation!
How great is that!
And how about the bottom?
QOS - GE
but QOS is not far away at No 13 :)
And I totally agree with you my good man.

He has Brosnan's last three as #22, #23 and #24, and GE is only #17 for him.
I like Dalton ...just not John Glen.
:))
Have you had someone put all Connery last? I know people who think all of Connery's films sucked, except DAF.
=))
