David Hasselhoff To Be The Next Bond Villian ?

How about former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff as Craig's next opponent. He seems a natural with his smarmy demeanor and devilish good looks, with a little of that old school elegance. A slightly older villain like in the old days. Next head of Quantum perhaps? I'm sure Mendes could pull a good performance out of him. He's a favorite on the continent, isn't he?

I can see where you are coming from to a certain degree, though he is not a particularly good actor. He is tv movie standard IMO.

Actually I think Hasselhoff would be an interesting choice. He's an imposing figure, and popular in Europe. He could be a reclamation project like Robert Downey Jr.

I know Hasselhoff is an "outside the box" choice, but what's wrong with that? Sometimes the best villains are oblivious to fans (Heath Ledger for instance). Open up your minds

Had a few drinks this night, but even I can see - this is doomed to failure

Some other participants have suggested there's a place that can accomodate, but only to say, the idea of David Hasselhoff as a bona fide James Bond villain, seems dead in the water. All I can ascertain, seems we weren't the only ones having a good liquor night. Other Baywatch stars, Pamela Anderson, or Donna D'Errico may have made for decent Bond girls. but other than that - this is not above preposterous

Hasselhoff is fun to watch in his works but as a serious villain in a Bond film? I just can't imagine and I'm surprised that others above think it could work.
