Oh my goodness, yes, @QBranch! That would be the most irritating thing!
    And I'll add:

"Give us a kiss! Give us a kiss!" in a horrible sqawking voice, over and over and over ...

Haha! I suggest we all try that next time on the train.

If - instead of Max the parrot -you used Bond's sexiest voice (right now I am hearing in my mind Moore or Brosnan ...) you may get surprising results! ;)

"I have no armour left. You've stripped it from me. Whatever is left of me... whatever I am... I'm yours. I wonder if that's why I love you. Enough to quit and float round the world with you... until one of us has to find an honest job. But I think that's gonna have to be you. I've no idea what an honest job is. Like you said... you do what I do for too long... and there won't be any soul left to salvage. I'm leaving with what little I have left. Is that enough for you?"

But are you saying that was irritating, Willy? ;)

I loved that whole bit. Yes, I did.

I can put up with the dialogue, but it feels a bit out of place. In France, they call it Casino Royale with cheese.

Cheese is my favorite food. No kidding. :D
For me, it was fine, given at the right point in the film, and I thought the acting throughout it was very good indeed. Just my feelings about it. Many don't like it, I know. I just really do.

"Where did you say you were from, boy?" complete with thick southern accent and an irritating skeptical whine in your voice.

Oh, any of JW Pepper's lines actually!

Why I do find this dialogue in the film a little uncomfortable and awkward, when typed out and read to myself it actually could convince me as a bit from Fleming. Not his best work, but definitely I could see him thinking of actually talking to a girl like this back in the day.

I read the last half of Casino Royale and Fleming was a soppy romantix . . . Basically yes
that dialogue works better about ten percent when typed out. Daniel Craig botched it.
