What's really interesting to me is just how...*normal* Gemma looks in that photo. Not to say that she isn't attractive - I very much think she is - but I think a lot of guys might look at that photo and think she isn't "glamorous" enough for a Bond girl.

To me, she was a great Bond girl because of the amount of personality and character she brought to the role - so much more than a lot of actresses convey as the lead woman in a Bond film! I think that she was the biggest throwback to a 60's style Bond girl we've had. When I saw QOS she reminded me a bit of Emma Peel which is a great thing.
