It's a dangerous series to quote from. Problem is I've often got lines pop in my head. Especially during meetings.

I admit killing you would be a pleasure?

Please, dont say that is among them.

    more like:
'I'd like to be a pilot. Up there where the air is clear'
'the chances of the air beeing clear around you baldrick are zero'.
    Or:
    'what do you want Darling?'

'there's nothing cushy about the women's auxilliary balloon corps!'

'have you seen any patients who look like a German spy?'
    'Nein!'
"Nine? the captain's got his work cut out fir him then!'

"I'm as British as Queen Victoria!"

"So your father's German, you're half German, and you married a German?"

    You look surprised, Blackadder

I certainly am, sir. I didn't realise we had any battle plans.

Well, of course we have! How else do you think the battles are directed?

    Our battles are directed, sir?

This Summer I have booked a hotel near Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte aka Drax’ estate in Moonraker. I will definitely pay it a visit and post some photos afterwards.

Finally had some time in my new home to go take a couple pictures.
First one is the Gasometer. Here Q had his base at the beginning of TLD, and you can see the Jet with Georgi escaping through the roof.
    PFdqhqQ.jpg

What blew my mind is that my company owns an apartment inside the building, which they let me stay in for my first month, and i only realized this place was used in TLD until after 3 weeks when my boss told me.
    hvobcST.jpg
    nWbgIqw.jpg

Here is the Museeumsquater. There is a short scene in TLD where you can see Bond and Kara ride a horse carriage here (0:27 in the below video). Btw, Horse carriages are still a thing here, so you could take the same ride anytime.
    yVacrGz.jpg

This was one of my favorite spots, because i stumbled upon it purely by accident, without reading anything on it online. This is the place where Bond and Kara arrive at in Vienna (0:22 in the video).
    MVrdbTA.jpg

Here we have the Ferris Wheel on the left, and a rollercoaster on the right. All the rides are still here, so i might go through all of them one day lol.
    uBFnZqJ.jpg

Next up the Palace Schönbrunn, where Bond's carriage ride ends.
    ZcDFv1r.jpg

Across from it the 'Gloriette' which can be seen in the background when Bond arrives.
    F9w9RG7.jpg

This is the path on which Bond and Kara discuss the Strativarius. At the end is Palace schoenbrunn, just like in the film.
    VMHoIZ8.jpg

Next up will be Kara's apartment, the Tram station, and hopefully all the interiors from LTD, if i can find them all.

Very nice, @00Agent! Great to see some TLD locations. With Piz Gloria already done, Vienna is the number one on my Bond pilgrimage list, obviously because I’m a massive Tim and Daylights fan.

You definitly should @GoldenGun. The amount of Bond locations is quite extensive. And Vienna is beautiful... just like Georgi said.

These are great, @00Agent! I'm hoping to do a trip to visit some Bond locations, maybe next year - I'd love to meet up if that happens.

I'm claiming this as a Bond location thanks to Anthony Horowitz. (It was scary, I went very slowly and stuck to the right-hand side at all times!)

    Oh that is cool, Agent_99!
And technically thats a Fleming location as well. Did you rent a bike there or brought your own? I want to do the same thing one of these days.

I'd forgotten that, @00Agent! I used my own bike, which was another reason I was very slow and careful :)

Still, you did it! That's epic! A 'kill' to be worn with pride on the bike!

Not been on a Bond location pilgrimage as such - but I'm originally from Iver Heath and used to live a couple of minutes away from Pinewood Studios.
As a kid my Mum would take me round Black Park - and I know loads of Bond stuff was filmed there.
As a Bond nut, I'm pretty proud of my heritage! :x

Cool topic! As an formerly avid movie location pilgrim (for all kinds of movies over the years), I have my share of James Bond location photos. I always have made screenshot panels for comparison, and generally try to recreate the angles seen in the film. Here what I got for Bond...
