    I find QoS to be heavily tragic in a sense: here we have Bond, trying to move on and do his job while keeping the revenge he so desperately wants on the back-burner, all the while trying to conquer his emotions over Vesper's betrayal and death. Then you have Mathis, wrongfully accused and unfortunately murdered in a desolate back alley and left in a dumpster, and Camille, an agent whose main goal, it would seem, is revenge, and every time she has her shot, it's taken away from her.
