Agreed, at least Schwarzenegger is alive and excited to be there in his films. Bruce shows up for a paycheck only, and puts forth no emotion, only a stoic presence. Damn shame.

I read why Willis was dumped from Expendables, certainly fits. The energy seems to have sapped out of Willis, certainly in recent films i have seen. His energy is what made him a bankable star. Arnle always has his was ego lol

I'm glad he was dumped, he doesn't deserve to wave his smug face in such an entertaining set of films. I'm tired of him anymore, he just walks around in boredom in every film I see him in. I miss the Willis from the 80's and the 90's.

Bruce's acting vanished with his hair. He was great in the 80's and 90's. Now he's just a has been at this point.

@Murdock, couldn't agree more. It sucks, but it's the truth. It's why even when I heard rumors of that dream plot for 'Die Hard 6,' I know it won't matter because he'll show up tired and dull once more.

Die Hard is dead at this point. I don't care to see where it goes next because I know it will be a crappy buddy cop movie where John McClane has more issues with his unlikable kids.

Trying to think of last film Willis was in i enjoyed. Looper was interesting though his performance was erratic. Watched Twelve Monkeys again last week, probably one of his best.

Agreed. I liked 4 too. At least Willis was acting like John McClane still. 5 was just Bruce Willis on Vacation. 8-|

Creative got caught in the trap of no narrative and just through meaningless special effects at the audience. Trying to think of anything that was good in that movie, think only the highway chase though that became totally unrealistic and overblown.

I was bored through the chase. Then again I was bored through the whole film.

Heck, I could make a good Die Hard film right now with zero budget and it would be better than most of the shlock that Hollywood puts out.

i agree, its misguided producers/studios who are blind and are taken in by current trend and try to replicate it irrespectlve if the trend is bad. Give me several movies likes The Hunted in that genre i would be happy.

I miss the days of the "everyday person." as the hero. Now it's all pretty people ripped out of the latest model magazines.

If you believe in the character and its written well enough, how they look should not matter(looks being subjective). Mentioned The Hunted with Del Torro and Lee Jones, taught and realistic action thriller you believe in the conflict and the characters and it works. Don't get me wrong i do like a good blockbuster when done well.

This list is far from perfect, but still better than the list saying Skyfall is the most overrated movie of all time, which takes the cake as a silly list.

Re Die Hard: they could use the original novel. It is by the way far superior and darker than the movies.

Add Superman IV the Quest for Peace.
Reeve, Kidder, Hackman et al should be ashamed of that gallery of shame.

The list is totally bogus, NO JC van Dammit movies or even steven Seagal movies mentioned in it. Just another reporter with a filler piece with no actual source as a wee bit of googling.

I hear you loud and clear@SaintMark. I get a kick out of reading these lists and some of them leaves me scratching my head. What makes this reported the authority? Hell with the number of films most of us have seen, we can probably make a list of our own.

    perhaps we should.

I actually think Superman III was even worse.
