How does taking one point a day off each name speed things up in any meaningful way.
That method actually hurts the lower point-totaled name, as Moore in this case, loses a higher percentage of his overall total. A very small percentage, but still.
Tried and true method to speeding up these games is to increase the increment eg plus- or-minus 5 points. Then you get more dramatic movement unless votes are perfectly evenly split, which is not the case here.
50 years of Bond in the making, may the best man win.

Keep it how it was, is my view.
And to garner some votes in the Moore fan thread:
Sean Connery: 49-
Roger Moore: 51+
Eliminated:
3) Daniel Craig
4) Timothy Dalton
5) Pierce Brosnan
6) George Lazenby
Who did it? Vote for me!
Thanks. That was nowhere in my mind.

The game was at stalemate so I decide to reset the scores for Connery and Moore at 50 each. Now one no longer has advantage over another. It's Endgame. ;)

The resetting seems unfair. Won't it stalemate this way anyways, with just a lesser margin of lead for Connery?

I do like Roger, but I am absolutely SHOCKED that the majority is taking him over Connery. It just seems... so bizarre...
