The movie was ok, though loved SG - 1. Richard Dean Anderson was always good value. Read they are planning a trilogy. Don't think the movies will gain much interest.

I enjoyed the original, don't know why they don't just make it a sequel?

Apparently it will be considered a sequel or is it? Whatever it is I hope it isn't one ugly mother trucker.

For me I liked Predators alot - very good ensemble cast just like the first one.

Apart from Fishy - he hammed it up until he stank, no wonder his daughter went into the porn industry - she wanted to find good actors.

ooops wrong reboot and thread. what is hollywood doing to me?

I remember seeing Stargate in the theater back when it first came out. And I LOVED it. I even had all the action figures. I think they're currently in my garage somewhere.

I don't know why it needs to be rebooted. It'd be easy enough to just re-explain the story in a sequel. But I suppose maybe, MAYBE it'd have potential.

    Old news.
That was reported some three weeks ago, so why do we need another thread on this now?

So that I can praise the idea of a remake. I liked the original. (Film, not the series.) I suspect a massive improvement.
