    I can tell. It's how each game has gone so far for him, it seems. You can't talk about something being overrated and completely negate bringing up GF.

    Regarding the title songs, I must confess I am completely on Sirseanisbond's side... for a change... Goldfinger is a timeless masterpiece. AVTAK is a Product of it's generation, but is not really that special and has aged badly IMO. It's certainly not a classic piece of music... from mye point of view anyway...

    I've been a very keen devotee of Bond (and in fact many film) soundtracks since for as long as I can remember having an interest in films and have original vinyls for TSWLM, MR, the especially loved 10th anniversary celebratory double album, AVTAK and LTK!! Am I showing my age here? For me, FRWL is a close second to OHMSS at the top of iconic Bond soundtracks rather than GF but along the way I really like AVTAK and GE so I'm as mixed up in my preferences as the way some voting is going here!! I certainly don't detest any single track or artist and will still savour every note when I listen to a Bond compilation without skipping a track. There's just separation between one that is preferred more!!

    I wouldn't have issue about somebody's purely subjective preferences for particular tracks but feel more uncomfortable about scathing comments about a song, artist or Mi6community poster expressing views! As the title of the thread states, it's a game...

    And I realise I took far too long to discover the masterpiece that is the OHMSS score after discovering an import CD off ebay nearly 15 years ago - virtually my first ebay purchase! I especially love 'Over and Out' and picture perfect an image in my mind of Draco in the helicopter!!

    The OHMSS score is pure magic! It might be one of the main reasons why the film as a whole is such a classic.

    Or do you mean merging different points? That's not strictly a 'double post' is it?

    He means that when you make a post, there's no need to post yet again, unless it's a bump/new piece of information/etc. after a considerable amount of time. If you post and have something to add 20 or 30 minutes later, simply edit that original post and add it in, as it will still be the most recent post everyone sees when they enter the thread.

    I think once we've gotten to the point where every song has a score of 21 or higher, I'll reduce every score by ten points to speed up proceedings. That depends on several things, including how quickly it seems the next song will be eliminated and such, but ultimately rests on whether or not I decide to actually do it.
