I sat in one once. REALLY comfortable. But the gracious owner told me it was difficult to park, and leaked from the roof in heavy rain.
I'll take the AM from TLD (winter-ized version)!

Yeah, but it travels through time, all other concerns are secondary.

I wonder if Clones is ever not going to finish last. ;-)

Don't know about that. As far as I know, Phantom has an even worse reputation. But it has to be one of those two ;)

I was surprised to see you chose my choices already.
Phantom Menace is the worst of the worst IMO. At least AOTC & ROTS don't suffer a horrible set up.
PM makes less sense than Starcrash.

    Agreed.
The Phantom Menace is a just a load of political nonsense and council meetings with only one really good scene (Qui Gon/Obi vs Maul).

    7. Holiday Special
    Nope!
    6. Episode II - ATTACK OF THE CLONES
The longest Star Wars film, over two hours of meddling bullshit just to set up the love story between Anakin and Padme. The only other plot point in this entire movie that's worth jack shit is the rise of the Clone army. Couple that with the horrible dialogue and pathetic acting and throw in the CGI addled OTT mess of a finale, and you don't just have the worst Star Wars film; this is one of the worst movies of all time. Aaaaaand...
    5. Episode I - THE PHANTOM MENACE
Take a nail file. Run it across your nail once. Just once. Look at the microscopic amount of nail that came off. That is a visual representation of how much better this is than Clones. So... not much. Oh, yay, Jar Jar Binks! Oh, yay, Jake Lloyd! Oh, yay, a completely pointless and excessively long podrace! Oh, yay... political meandering nonsense! Oh, yay... oh wait, Duel of the Fates is awesome and the Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan vs Darth Maul duel is the best lightsaber action in the series. So it's not all bad, it's just 95% bad.

Join me tomorrow as I continue this ranking with the four films in the series that aren't terrible!

Yep. But why not cut through the floor when trapped by the force field? And earlier, why not rescue Anakin's Mom so he doesn't turn evil?

Say what you want about Anakin's piss poor acting, the film has no ewoks, and the Emperor finally pulls his trump card, the last half of Revenge of the Sith is great, all culminating in Vader and the Emperor overlooking the halfway complete Death Star. It was nice seeing the pieces for the Original Trilogy finally fall into place.

Oh yeah, it's the best of the prequels IMO, but in no way better than "Youuu waaaaant thissssss..."

    I also concur.

Is this the least divisive list we have ever had on here? There only slight room for debate is which is top ANH or Empire and which is bottom TPM or Clones and you can make a case either way.

Unlike the Bond lists where there is every combination possible it seems that there is no one out there prepared to rank any of the prequels as anywhere near as good as the originals and ROTJ and ROTS are marooned in 3rd and 4th on everyone's list.

that movie and the TV show was so much more fun than the 3 GL prequels. It is almost painful to list them as they show so much more than GL managed.

I was too old for a Star Wars/ Muppet show crossover in 83, but the scenes with the Emperor were great!

I can easily understand that, @Thunderfinger. You see, I used to think Jedi was my favourite Star Wars film. Why? Because I simply love the space battle over Endor and the confrontation with the Emperor. Those were enough to get me going. But as the years went by, several flaws became obvious. Heeeere's Lando!, and way too much time was spent on Tatooine, Yoda's *convenient* passing, ... How about the Ewoks? I still think they are cute but yeah, it gets a little bit too much at times with the little fur-balls. And what happened to Han? He got pussified in this film! Where's our beloved rascal from the previous two movies? Unfortunately, the space battle no longer suffices to compensate for ALL of that, so Jedi did sink lower in my ranking.

Everything in space and in the Emperor's throne room was awesome. Everything on Tatooine and Endor was... Meh.
